Just finished up another necklace hanger as a Christmas present for my mom. Made a few improvements over the last one.
Do you sell these? Where can I get some of your work?I have a rose bud tip , but I rarely use it , pretty much do it all with a welding tip and vary the pressures , its all stainless , different grades and thicknesses
Metal flower I just finished up for the ol' lady.

And on the less artsy side. My buddy wanted a dirtbike hitch carrier made with a 4.5" drop.

Thanks!I like that flower! More details.
Christmas is getting close. Who else is fabbing up some Christmas presents??
This is a table I'm working on for my mom.
All of the joints are beveled and tig'd with silicon bronze. It will get a clear finish, and a hand planed wood top.

That's kinda dope! I like the design. Your idea? Why the sil-bronze filler? Just for contrast and reduced HAZ?
Yep, thanks!
And yeah the bronze is just for the contrast.
This was also kind of used as a test piece. we have a customer wanting a run of tables made out of the same materal using the bronze filler.
It really does. It definitely seems more forgiving than other fillers as far as heat input and puddle control. It's fun to play with. Makes you feel like a damn fine TIG welder, don't it?
Yep. Imma straight up copy that. Got a hunk of butcher block that'll look great on it.Finished table.

Somehow my response ended up in your quote....ooppps.I had a friend ask me if I could make a cool set of stairs to go from his garage floor up to a house entry door. He said no wood. I personally think they'd look cooler with two nice dark stained oak treads instead of just flat steel. He's going to paint these steps with bedliner so they aren't slick.
Agreed on the wood, or a blend of steel and wood risers. Working on a table with a metal inlay of strips like a old truck bed. Like the risers, very much has your imprint of style.
