New bar for the 359

You like that husqvarna? I've got an OLD Poulan that's holding up, but I can no longer get a chain for it. So I need to get a new bar. But I've been eyeballing a new Husq at the local Hardware store.

that's a terrible way to do that.
I'd run them in through the rear left window and out the right front. Javelin style.

Yeah it has been a great saw. The 359 is around the same size as the 455 Rancher but is a professional saw. Just like Stihl, They make homeowner saws and pro saws. This is a 24" bar big saw, I only use it when the firewood I am cutting dictates it. I have an 18" Echo 3450 and a Husqvarna 35 with an 16" bar that I use mostly.

Honestly though, if you need a great smaller saw I would look at the Stihl MS211 at $300 it cannot be beat.

A Husqvarna chain won't work? They own Poulan, I figured it would be the same chain.

A lot of the old Craftsman saws I've owned were thinly disguised Poulans, You might be able to get a chain at Sears...

Unless it's something home made there is a chain for it somewhere.

3/8 (.375) x .050 chain can be a little strange as there is a "low profile" version that looks like a .325 chain.
It's narrow and has smaller teeth but is actually .375 x .050 chain.

All my saws use .375 x .050 chain, 2 are low pro and the 359 is regular. The number of links is the other size factor.
