I'm glad I don't have kids. Costumes like that would get out of hand very quickly. I'm sure there would be CAD models and CNC machines involved.

Also congrats on marrying up. I'm in the same category as well. :huggy:

Whats interesting is if you take Jr there. Add about 3-4" and maybe 150lb... you've got Matt!

So I'm a procrastinator. At about 4pm today, I finally got started on the costume I've been trying to start on for 3 days.

More importantly, i got the staples and the kiddo got a pretty sweet costume. View attachment 279120

150lb? You're generous. Add more like 175...

So I sent out my last-day-im-leaving-and-ill-probably-never-talk-to-you-again email at work this morning. Took all of 15 minutes to get an email that had this gem in it:

WTF VW! Another special fastener tool? "Poly drive" it's like a torx, but with squarer recesses & corners.. grrr.

My answer: start with over size hex key, remove material. (Wish I had machining tools, would've come out way prettier.

Fit better than torx bit did.

The results? Water pump locked up, shredded belt, bent 7 valves. 3 intake. 4 exhaust.

Hadn't seen this many vacuum lines since I touched a stock 80/90's import..
