No where to really PUT this...so putting it here.

Had lunch at District 924 today in Winston. Soul food place that's only open Thur-Sun and limited hours at that. Been dying to try it, as I can see it from my office balcony. So a vendor came today and I decided to give it a shot.

Freaking phenomenal!!! but that's not the point. Iron gate surrounding it, but a MASSIVE bouncer sitting outside at the entrance with a mask on. Very intimidating. Anyway...he asks how many and where our masks were. :mad: So we're OUTSIDE but reach in our pockets for masks. Anyway...he tells us to wait on the sidewalk and walks thru he courtyard seating (empty) to ask the hostess if we can come in. Wow..this place must be packed!!! He motions for us to come in. We enter and are the only patrons (11:40)

Anyway...food was outstanding!

We pay..and as we are leaving the place starts filling up FAST. We walk by Biggie and tell him goodbye, turn the corner and this Mary Jenkins looking lady (227 for those that remember that show) came walking up in a sleeveless sequined shirt, and long shorts, but had these fuzzy slippers on....I mean....wait..let me see if they are on google ...OK similar to these but had sparkles of some kind....and she had some jacked up toes though :wtf:

Anyway....we heard Biggie say "excuse me ma'am......" but couldn't hear the rest..it was garbled #becausefuckingmask

Anyway. we look back and he done DENIED Mary :eek:

She came walking back to the parking lot mad as HELL, long un-secured titties flopping like crazy in that sleeveless shirt 🤮

Then I get back to the office to leave a good review and read this review from 3 weeks ago :lol::lol::lol::lol:

If you have ever looked in total awe and wonder at how a mobile home is plumbed or wired then you are my brother.

I have remodeled bathrooms professionally multiple times and while I dislike bathroom work, it pales in comparison to the seething hatred I feel for $#@&*%+! trailers.

Lenox metal cutting circular saw blade, where have you been all my life?

If you have not tried it, it is the best $20 EVER. It makes cutting metal roofing a dang delight! Having it on a cordless DeWalt makes it even better.

Honestly like cutting warm butter.

Did I say I like it? Cause I really like it.

I just had a container full of new equipment leave the port in Rotterdam Netherlands on Saturday. I was looking over some paperwork for it and checked the news on my phone. I sure hope they don't run into Larry out in the ocean. My luck they put my container on the outer edge near the top and forgot to turn the connector thingy. Gonna be a nervous next 16 days
 
Is this what being a boomer feels like? Back in my day, we got take home folders or agendas and your parents checked your backpack. Now I have to install an app. I like it, but I’m mad at it for being a technological advancement that’s different from what I grew up on…

First day of school here.
Get a phone call at 5:30am, "CMW High School (where our son goes) closed today due to an ongoing power outage. No after school activities."
wonder WTF could happen to cause that.

LOL at the chaos ensuing. Lots of kids didn't get the message. Many pissed parents. First football game is Friday and the band had a last-minute 3 hr practice today. Some kids don't even have uniforms yet.

We use a corded Skil saw all the time for 4&5xxx aluminum up to 1" thick. No fancy blade needed. Just a wood blade. We also spray diesel fuel on it as lubricant.

I have used a normal carbide before on thin steel but it doesn’t cut nearly as well as these purpose made blades seem to. Lenox sells an aluminum cutting glade too.

As an aside, the Lenox reciprocating saw blades that say 20x or whatever on them are fantastic as well.
 
If a closing screen door corner catches the back of your bare heel, you will cuss and bleed.
