What usually happens to me is I just soldered on a multi conductor wire onto an end and the connector shell is lying on the bench, mocking me.

I'm pretty good at putting on 120v plugs and forgetting to put the cover end on the cord before wiring it. My other trick is to accidentally leave the old cover on the cord way up there and put both pieces of the new plug on.

Simple double flare, nothing fancy. What’s funny is that I thought to myself how easy brake line work is and why people pay to have it done …. Then that little bastard of a fitting started laughing at me Sitting all pretty on the bench not a foot away.

wasn’t the first time in my life and am sure it won’t be the last.

Oh I've done it! It's come down to either cut off my fresh self prided beauty or sacrifice a factory flare on the other end and try my luck all over 😂

Just read this from Jamin (who started PSA) in a thread on another board.

This is how to win.

After godaddy took down arfcom back in January Pete Brownell and I started talking about ways to fight back. The fruits of that discussion have led to several new companies being formed that would not have otherwise.

We have spent the last ten months building a nice social media platform, it is called Bravvox and launches in January. It is really slick. We have also formed a bank, rewards credit card, cc payment processor and insurance company. These will all be launched over the next 5 months.

Our hope is to spread freedom on IT/Finance, not just firearms.

Kids are weird. My boys were given two kittens this past week. Our two year old loves playing ball of any kind. He named his Soccer ball. We have tried changing the cat's name probably 20 times. He loses his mind at the prospect of any other name. I guess Soccer Ball is its name.

You ever seen a 2 yr old handle a cat? I foresee lots of rides down the slide for that poor cat.

Also, the two year old has some trouble with his k's. He came inside all excited this morning and told my wife, "mommy, I rubbed the titties!". We fell about the place 🤣

Meh, wife's sister and BIL brought home a chocolate lab to their young kids, one of whom who called it Carrot. "Karat? Like diamonds?" No, Carrot. He smells like vegetables. Thats what the kids insisted his name was.

Carrot was an awesome dog to that family for 10 years
 
Sort of a long thought, but its definitely a thought I've had often recently...

Why does it seems bad stuff just comes in chains?... for the last 2 months, it just seems its been a non stop chit storm. Just seems to be one thing after another. I know that its just life, but its been wearing me down here in the last couple of weeks and I try to hold my head high and be positive, but man it gets to you sometimes.

I mean, I just can't imagine a scenario where I would just casually turn on my speaker phone in a place of business and just walk around....what I have seen a lot of recently is people being on facetime with someone else but the phone is all over the place, so the person on the other end is just watching the phone go in every which direction but on the person's face....
