Still like the uniqueness of the build. The cage X's would have been a lot stronger if they had met up with each other. In effect connecting the whole cage together.
If your referring to the vertical X's in the main & rear hoop, it's because of the seats. Main & rear hoops are tied into frame at 8 locations. I think it's better than no X at all thou.Any specific reason you didn't run the "X"s out to the corners?
Thanks.dude this is without a doubt the coolest thing ive ever seen!! i seriously cant wait to see this thing finished, i been following this thread for the last few months..
Appreciate it. Refer to reply above for my reasoning of placing vertical X's the way they are.Still like the uniqueness of the build. The cage X's would have been a lot stronger if they had met up with each other. In effect connecting the whole cage together.
Heres pics of one of the races that was pitted.i am a little confused also, were the bearings bad? i have yet( knock on wood) to have to replace any bearing on any rockwell i have ever used. thats pulling and a lot of mudding?![]()
Thanks for cage compliment. I'm using two Summit racing seats up front & two Bestop buckets in back.Cage turned out great, gussets too, I am not sure if its been asked yet, but what are you planning to do seat wise? Run the f350 bench in the rear and the 2 Captains up front? Or racing seats front/rear?
It's a "soft release" (sounds like saying from a porn director sorta), (kinda like a new Vegas casino doing a "soft opening" to work out kinks). I'll post pics soon. I think I finally got tone ring right for PCM/Speedo/tranny shifting (doesnt say I'm going 95 now when I'm actually doin 65). By the way I work in High Point @ Thomas Bus.So, I'm guessing you work in/near k-ville? Guy at work said I needed to see this, apparently someone snapped a picture and sent it to him and he showed me.
Now either its been released or someone else has a 4 door yj on rockwells somewhere in the triad area.

Been working out some kinks here & there. Still gotta get front driveshaft made, lockers F&R & Ouverson locking hubs. Chris is gonna outboard rear coils next Saturday (spring hits frame now w/mild flex). Got front & rear heat plumbed up (18,000BTU rear heater). Workin on enclosing occupant area better now.We need to see more pics![]()

Is this you?
