She’s all done now. Just waiting on Jody to come load her up for the ride home Friday. I think it took longer to paint everything that it did to build it. What a PITA!

Disappointed in the level of filth the rump ranger was delivered to you soaked in. Had I known I would have planned a trip to harass Jody and cleaned the underneath properly before sending it your way :huggy:
 
Man that looks awesome. I fully expect Jody to do it right, get rid of the blue for general Lee orange! I don’t think he would trigger anyone with a rebel flag... what flag goes with crocs...

Stale gas, dead battery and it nearly killed me when it rolled off the trailer tonight.
But it's back in my shop ready for the rewire and Holley Terminator install.
 
Following closely, I want do this to my YJ and ditch the Ford Fool Injection. The original owner spliced it all in and its a functioning nightmare. Ghastly would be a compliment. Coupled with speed density I'm ready to chunk it.

He bragged about all the idiot lights working and it not giving check engine light......but the end product looks like spaghetti vomit.

We need to go in together for a group discount on sniper injection and GT40 heads
 
No pics because grinder/plasma boogers.
The only wire left in the truck is from the solenoid to the starter. The rest said "peace out".
Cut off the battery mount (was above rear axle) and modified it to fit at the firewall. This will allow very short runs of cables and wiring. Much, much cleaner.
Also began cutting and installing sheetmetal patch panels on the firewall. Removing the HVAC assembly left gaping holes (insert #BTL joke here).
Chipping away at all the unseen things once the dash and fenders go back on.
