AKA: hawg ass cam3/4 race cam??
AKA: hawg ass cam
Joking aside, $500 for a literal "down to the smallest detail" cam is maybe $100 more than trying to match one up.
CI sent me a 3 page form to fill out so they can make exactly what I'm looking for. They've made me a couple back when I was racing NMRA and I couldn't be happier with the results.
Luckily the ol Blue beeyotch got that PTC magic inside the bellhousingYou mean you won’t have to foot brake the Ranger the way the YJ needed it due to “hawg ass cam”
Bougie! My small block has one old style head and one vortec head with the intake notched heavily to make it work. Had one lifter collapse at GER last year so I adjusted the rocker to compensate and man we running strong lolLuckily the ol Blue beeyotch got that PTC magic inside the bellhousing
I’m looking into going to gulches soon as well so let me know when you decide to go.Well, haven't really had time to do any wheeling, so my truck has sat since September . Damn work!
It wasn't running great recently and I knew it was time to address it. Randomly it would chop like a 3/5 cammed Big Block and then clear up. Turned out to be a loose connection at the MAF connector. My harness is a 4 wire and I use a 6 wire MAF (internal IAT) so it utilized an adapter. I soldered in a new 6 pin and called her done.
Went ahead and pulled the fuel pump, replaced the pick up sock and cleaned inside the tank.
It was smooth but a little rough at idle. Vacuum gauge showed low vacuum at idle, so a valve adjustment and timing check was in order. 13* FTW! Swapped in a fresh set of wires and plugs for good measure.
The rear suspension was a bit too low and would bottom out in occasion. So I changed the air pressure and added a little oil to thee rear Foxes and the ride is reminiscent of a could of tits. Perfect.
She smooth and ready to wheel soon. Gonna try to hit Gulches here soon and plan a GER ride too.
