I hear ya, but I'd rather grill outside than heat up the kitchen with the oven or stove top running. I don't mind it so much. I've got a sun shade over the grilling area which helps cut down the direct sunlight quite a bit.

Exactly...
Keep the heat outside.
But i grill out year round.

At @hurt4x4 ‘s house tonight thighs and andouille

Was craving some smoked/bbq chicken wings/drummets last night so I looked @ the radar and decided I could get them done before the storms near siler city got here. When I dumped the coals thunder and dark clouds were gettin closer. It was spittin when I put them on and another radar check showed some storms blowing up close and moving this way. I took the SS sheet I put the webber on when grilling on the deck and screwed it to the railing. They smoked for 30mins, then I turned them just before the strom hit. It worked well and kept the grill dry in the heavy rain. 45 mins later I mixed up some sauce and painted them/turned/repeat for 15 mins with some light rain falling, the chicken was very good......

Wish I could like this more than once! One time for smoking wings, a second time for the ingenious idea of covering the grill, a third time for sacrificing the deck railing to screw the grill cover to the railing, and a fourth time for you selections of BBQ sauces to mix together. I bet that was delicious!

Done these Saturday morning for a local church

Headed out tomorrow to camp. Been working this butt over since about 6 tonight. Snapped this photo before wrapping in foil and choking down the BGE. I’ll let it go all night and stick in a cooler tomorrow am. Will heat up in a Dutch oven over some coals at camp tomorrow.

Venison burgers with pimento cheese, a deviled egg spread, and some candied bacon. Don’t mind the buns being on the wrong sides, it tasted damn good.

Feijão tropeiro for lunch today with oxtail for supper. Ill try to snap some pics when I start cooking(the oxtails have been cooking for 24 hours already)

Had Oxtail in Jamaica it was good, makes sense you'd have to cook it like bbq doesn't seem like a Prime cut.

I cook it sous vide then sear it in a cast iron pan. Then I'll saute some shallots and garlic and make a nice pan sauce with the bag juice and red wine. It ends up like a roast only waaaaaaayyyyyyyyy better thanks to all the fat, connective tissue, and marrow.
