I would probably make some sort of an xmember to go off the back of the 205 then. Support that weight at the very back so there is nothing hanging off the back of the case that isnt supported in some way. Even with the xmember bolted to the adapter there is still a lot of leverage on the back of the transmission case. Supporting both the adapter then the back of the transfer case should reduce any torque on the back of the transmission.

I don't have 700 bucks to build a TH350 right now and I won't for a long time.
 
They told me 550 for a stock rebuild...that included parts and labor. By the time you add a good TC and upgrade the internals then 800 is a is a modest number.

I would rather pay more and have it built strong now.....I'm sick of working on it and I damn sure don't wanna take the trans out again for a long time.

500 + to swap the internals to a different case! Thats retarted. I've gotta go out to the bike/ATV shop today and will pass my local trans guy. I'll stop and ask him what he would charge to do it. I'll let you know and if its reasonable pull your trans and Ill take it back up the mountain with me on Tuesday.

I gathered some randomness today but I think I'm going to get a K case tomorrow and take it apart. I think it's a pretty simple job.....swaping the internals....I will just have to get a new set of seperator gaskets from B&M and other misc trinkets. The trans that I might be tomorrow has a NP203 which I could hang onto for a future doubler.
 
I'm going to hot rod barn tomorrow to get a base plate.....and I'm going to get a new trans and case on Sunday.
I'm also gonna have to put that ole clutch pedal back in:driver:

I welded my spare bead lock together and I will have a spare 39.5 TSL whenever Jody brings it by.

I got a base plate yesterday and got my propane kit put together and installed.
I still have to make my tank mounts....wich will be for two tanks standing up behind the cab
I'm going to get my flywheel here in a few minutes. I'm then going to have it surfaced tomorrow so I cal allready have it on before the new trans gets here.
I've got a bunch of small things to get done before the Farm.....:Rockon:
 
Hahah. It still looks as shitty as it did in the last pic. I will take some pics with the skins when I get the skins on the front end and the pane/CO2/spare tire mounted.
 
Well I would say only swapping a transmission instead of a motor is an improvement over all the other times it blew up. Rock out man and get this biatch done. I'm tired of reading about it. I want to see Swampy getting beat like it stole all your money...

anytime Im feeling bad I click on this thread. I thought mine was bad. but he has the worst luck I have ever heard of. I will let him explain todays adventure.
