True !
The easy way to do it would be to drop it off and I'll call you when it's done. Pay by cash, check, card, hot wife doesn't matter to me.
Better than nothing, but looks a little gimmicky. Might not take much grit or crude to lock those hinges. But, that's what filters are suppose to handle.I ordered the wrong oil pan the first time so hopefully this one will be right. I went with the Improved Racing kit which included the trap door baffle. Sure hope it keeps the oil pressure up like I'm hoping.

The quality and workmanship on that baffle is outstanding. I'm sure those hinges will work greatBetter than nothing, but looks a little gimmicky. Might not take much grit or crude to lock those hinges. But, that's what filters are suppose to handle.
I'm going to keep it DBW. I got the pedal w it. Plus on this 2011 model motor I understand the DBW is drastically improved w like twice the cps ticks to keep things right w the vvt.You gunna keep it DBW or swap over to a DBC throttle body?
Hadn't planned on itDoing a VVT delete? I'm always worried about those lifters crapping out.
Kinda what I was thinking. Not really heard anything bad about it.Millions of trucks on the road with them I don't think I'd worry.
I had the AFM function on my mind, not VVT. My bad! I know they had lifter problems and oil consumption problems with some of the AFM engines, but that being a 6.0, it won't have it.
Carry on!
Mmmmm.... Didn't know I needed one. What do I need? That's what this thread is for. Ideas and information.Did you remember to get a thermostat housing?
