The Money Pit- Lockedup5's YJ on Tons-- Updated Phase Two 2016-- 6.0 swap!!!

Don you need a job or another jeep to work on. You have way to much time on your hands.

oh this is from the wife :fuck-you:

:D

That's the problem ole buddy... I "DO" have too much time on my hands. Since the back alteration I'm not allowed to do anything, so I spend my time dreaming up nonsense like this. And... I just don't believe Ashley said that!!! :shaking: If Chipper would get back on that chicken house I could focus my attention on him for a while.

All BS aside... that is one fine looking rig, and one heck of an upgrade from the little Cj5!!! Looking forward to seeing it for real!

You guys are funny.

Don't really have anything picture worthy but have got quite a bit done.

-Radiator/electric fans complete
-all coolant lines including propane converter lines are complete
-Brakes complete
-interior-seats are in and the security console
-I wired up all my lights and got everything working correctly
-all engine and light wires are all loomed up neat and clean
-lots of other little odds and ends have been done also
-Installed my new battery box along w/ a new 34/78 red top Optima
-Both driveshafts are now completed

Tomorrow I'm going to get started on building all my hydraulic hoses for the steering and get my gauges ran into the dash.

So, what's left?
I keep telling my self you don't have much to do but every time I think about it I find something else that needs to be done.

Steering hoses are now complete but didn't get much more done cause I took off Friday evening and took the kids to the Nationwide race. They had a blast.
Didn't get a whole lot done yesterday cause I had to do some yard work and get ready to throw a bday party.

Things I have left to do are:

-Build bumpers
-Modify existing winch plate off the ole CJ or build a new one
-Install all my gauges and dash plate for gauges
-Install switches for compressor and ARB
-Push button start
-incab winch controller
-OlJeep is going to build my shifter cover
-Install/paint skid plate and extend it forward to make a full skid
-install propane bottle clamps and buy a 10 gallon tank
-Hook up all my air lines including compressor, arb, and tank. Still need to install tank.
-put nitrogen in my ORI's
-May polish my links
-Need to cut about 1/2''off my top control arm on the front to make my pinion angle 100% correct
-run propane lines
-finish bolting in seat belts
-need to fill fluids in axles, hydro steering, cooling system
-install rock lights
-install hood
-paint/install high lift jack

So yes I still have some things to do but not near as much as I had a couple months ago. Hoping to have most of this knocked out in the next couple weeks.

Geez, are you not done yet!?!?!?! :flipoff2: The Jeep looks so much better in person, Kenneth you have done an awesome job with this build and I know you and your family will be proud to wheel this one. :bounce2::bounce:

Thanks man I appreciate it. I'm hoping we have many years of enjoyment out of it.
It would be done alot sooner if I could take a little more time off work but I got an asshole for a boss. :flipoff2:
