The proud parent thread.

Got marked off for having a "sentence fragment". Showed it to me, it wasn't a fragment at all. Not in the least.
Am I the only one who sees the irony here?

She’s a master of disguise. Day 47 and grandmas dogs don’t suspect a thing.

My youngest boy. Damn this kid can play ball. Went 11-12 in this weekend's tournament. A few doubles, couple triples and a home run. Kid is hitting bombs now, and he's a defensive power at first.

Older boy is still fighting some confidence issues due to some bad coaching. Common problem with this team, my wife heard all about it from the parents this weekend. He did hit a bomb that would have gone out on 99% of the fields we play on. Field was huge for 12u, 260ft. Can't wait to get him on a new team in the Spring. Proud of him for being so supportive and happy for his little bro though.

Reason I’m selling my buggy, I’ll get another one once he gets older.

Son is National champion in both boat and cable wakeboardig for 10 and under. Also placed 3rd in Novice cable at nationals this year. 2nd place was a 36 year old guy, 1st was a 18yr old. Pretty big accomplishment for a 10 yr old. Were 36 in division.

Also currently holds world record for youngest person to land a double flip on a wakeboard on a cable.

We’re working on being less agressive...usually my daughter would push her older cousin out of her favorite chair at grammy’s (I’m not a big believer in sharing, you don’t share your shit as an adult, so why are you expected to as a child)...so this is progress.

Our 2 1/2 year old started survival swim lessons two weeks ago. I didn’t get to see the first day but my wife said there was a lot of tears/screams of terror and she took a swing at the teacher. About two more days worth of tears for the entire lesson and the fourth day she flips the switch and starts coming up all smiles.

Damn, I'm happy! My 10 year old son got his first chance at extra points during the football game today. He was 2 for 2. I have been working with the three kids to snap, hold, and kick before practices for the last few weeks. It's awesome to see the work pay off. I'm so proud of all of them

My daughter was selected to have her art drawing put in the state Fair. Only 6 kids from her school we're selected

to add to this she brought home her BOG testing and she is above all state, district and school best performers :)

Been a good month for the little guy.Was selected for the North South game last night.

Shrine Bowl week was a good week. Tell him to enjoy it. Tons of coaches out there to showcase for. 4-5 of my offers were a result from 'what coaches saw during practice'.

College coaches arent allowed to watch practice anymore.
That changed 3 or 4 years ago I think.

Was kind of surprised he didnt get picked up for the shrine bowl, but North South isn't a bad conciliation prize

Ahh...names apparently changed a bit too. When I was coming up the North (Carolina)/ South (Carolina) was the Shrine Bowl game. Regardless, extra all star football is extra all star football. All those events are a blast. I'm better friends with some of those high school guys I played with once than most college guys I played with. He have any prospects on the table???

Shrine bowl still exists. Its NC vs SC

North/South game is the South Carolina High School all star game played every year since 1949

More football the first of the last. Samuel got one (the 5th) of the longest runs in the state last week and was team captain for Senior night.

IDK why they hold hands going onto the field, Always have. One more away game and HS football is over. Bittersweet.
