Truck Night in America

I tried Sling last year and it sucked.
Look into FreeFlix HQ. New(er) content streaming thing that seems to have everything.
Disclaimer: The legality of it is unclear to me.

I would just huck my jeep off the 4 horseman ledges.

I was thinking the same thing! Why not just hit it with some speed, romp the throttle right as you drop off and just flow right off those things? Just about everything I’ve seen had the suspension to handle it.

The same reason you don't normally jump 4 foot ledges when you are wheeling normally. You are trying not to tear up your stuff. Also, the guy in the black Dodge has major back issues. That was the main reason he was so slow on the bumps.

Other than typical old man "damn I slept wrong" I don't have back issues, but the in-cab video of his impact made my vertibre cringe. That was a back breaker regardless of prior issues. No armchair quarterbacking for him...thay was rough

But I'm not usually on TV competing for 10k.:D
Maybe I'm crazy or an asshole, but it seems like if you have major back issues then volunteering to do this show in anything wo major expensive suspension is a terrible idea

Seems to me that wheeling wo expensive seats is a terrible idea. Looking at that truck, Im not sure how much wheeling it does though. I also dont believe the 2000hp number. Bet it gets 30mpg too. He's probably a CumminsForum/DTR regular.

I was also questioning the 2000HP claims. I would imagine pushing that much it wouldn’t be very drivable on anything other than WOT. But I don’t know a ton about extremely built diesel trucks.

I stalked the dude out in FB cause I was curious about his back. From some convo on his FB page, he was telling someone it had a custom 7.8L block, and was supposed to have twins but one of the guys dropped one of his turbos off the bench. Since the replacement couldn’t be had in time for the show they set it up for single turbo so he could still compete.

I would imagine it has multiple tunes, and the 1,9xx whatever he stated was probably all out race tune, but not what it was set on during the show.

Probably right. I do know that was one very hard hit he took! In slow mo you could see the whole truck flex.

I would have sent my old XJ barreling off those drops, then totally trashed it if need be trying to get thru the last course.

My episode hasn't aired yet. I will be in my black Cherokee. I will have to watch again. Not sure which one hooked to a car roof.

I have watched a couple of the episodes, wife likes it too. Pretty cool on some stuff, but man those most of hose folks seem to have no clue how to drive, at least from the couple I watched, the mudfest with the Jeep LJ and chevy truck and the one with the white ford F250 :shaking: and two gals.

Anyway, I hope you represent well in your jeep. It happens to be one of my old rigs the wife wheeled for a while . I will have to tell the wife about the jeep being on the show and that it could have been her competing!!
