What are you having for dinner?

Birthday dinner last night. New seafood shack just opened up by the house and a buddy gave me a couple crowlers of apricot sour.

Was not disappointed. Can't beat the price. Take out only...they don't even have tables inside. Mine was the garlic shrimp platter. $18 and enough food for me and my wife to get stuffed on...probably 2 dozen shrimp in it.

Just put a couple of filet mignons in the sous vide. Giving them 2 hours at 129* (medium rare). They are vacuum bagged with a chopped up vidalia, fresh mushrooms, garlic, and a bottle of a merlot sauce we had.

And finally..... also did a tater and some steamed brocolli. Cheese sauce for both.

I think this was about the best steak I have had.

Sweet onions on the grill cored w a tsp of butter and a heavy dusting of Cajun seasoning.

London Broil marinaded in soy, red pepper etc

and some grilled pineapple. Honey, cumin, chili powder, lime juice, and cayenne.
