What are you having for dinner?

waiting for the New Year’s Eve pork bbq to heat up (we never ate it) for some sliders wit mac and cheese.

I still have a massive pile of oysters to go through. Having Oysters Rockefeller as an appetizer. These are Virginia Blackberries.

Not a great pic, but it was delicious...

Boneless skinless chicken breast. Put in 9x9 casserole dish and coated in olive oil. Sprinkled on some Mrs. Dash (Garlic and Herb), then a sliced sweet onion, a jar of sauerkraut, garlic, and finally poured a cup or so of apple juice over it (Simply Apple, pure pressed, not from concentrate...the good stuff). 400 degrees for about 40 minutes, uncovered.

(Sauerkraut, onion, garlic -- yep, sleeping alone tonight.)

I had a tasty strip steak for dinner and a nuked sweet potato. I usually just use a small bit of butter on the sweet potato (or I can eat them plain) but I can't stand when people cover a perfectly healthy food with something like brown sugar and gobs of butter when it's perfectly healthy as it is.
So I was thinking, "I wonder how honey would be on one?"
Holy crap it's off the charts good! I'm okay with honey since it's natural but I use it in spells but I usually have some local honey around.
Try it!
