What have you done to your rig today?

For the "20 year old white girl", aka Silverado, got a few boxes in. New fuel pump, all new filters, all new Spicer U joints, and a few bling-bling things. Pulled the fuel tank out and updating her fuel delivery. Yep, pretty sure it's a 40gal.

They didn't make a 40 gallon tank. If it's short bed, it's a 26 gallon. Long beds got 34 gallon tanks.

I love a big gas/fuel tank. Plenty of cruising range!

Finished up my transfer case floor cover. Blew up two cut off discs but we got it done. No final pics of the painted version but you get the idea.

Replaced the booster in the cj. About stood it on its nose validating it was the culprit. Apparently stock cj booster with one ton disc / drum combo and 42's needs a light touch on the binder pedal. Stops better than anything I've got now. More motivation to fab up the front anti wrap now

Finished header gaskets on the pickup.

New AC controls for the Jeep.

Wife chose new name for Jeep cause she’s the chief administrative officer of this whole shebang.

Swapped a 1” master cylinder and dual diaphragm booster onto the 87 4runner. Holy crap I have a lot more brakes now! Wish I’d done this long ago.

I know it’s fairly straightforward, but since I’m new to all of this is kind of a big Dill👍 For me, since I’m a non wrench turner

I started a 3.5 in lift kit today with some new boom shackles..

1-removed the sway/track bar front and rear
2-Got the shacked painted and greased
3-will start on front passenger Side in the Am, hope I do t mess it up

Went out this morning and drug a buried Jeep truck thingy out of the powerlines back in the woods behind my house. Quick and easy.

I have bought several sets of chinesium headlights over the years and they work fine. I need a set on ’Mater eventually.
Maybe it's old age, but for the last couple of years there's two things I can't live without; bright headlights and new tires.

Damn you, China

My wife buys a new Honda every few years. The 17 Civic Touring she had was the first with LED headlamps. OMG they’re incredible. Her CRV had them and now the new Pilot. They make the best halogen look like a candle.

These days there's practically no reason to not have LED everything.

Tcase in and out on ‘Mater today. No more leaky tranny fluid.

Passenger side off …

I do have a quick 2 part question
Quick dumb question

1) On a military wrap spring does the extra wrap go to the rear?

2) my MORE off road came with spring bushings, and so did my lift kit…any benefits to using one over the other

Been noticing some timing chain slap on the ole hoopty. Had some oil leaks coming from the timing case anyway so I knew I needed to address it. Tore into it today when I got home from meeting @BigSouth to deliver his beadlocks. Thankful I got after it when I did cause I was about to be bringing all the boys to the yard with my milkshake. Drivers side chain guide was toast. Chain had been eating the timing cover for ???

Wife and I took her ZJ out for a run down Hurricane Creek with Chris from Ujoint Offroad and his new Bronco.
Put about 200 miles on the old ZJ today. All bueno until a caliper locked up passing through Waynesville. 20 minutes in the AutoZone parking later, we were on our way.
Good day!

I forget, but it did have full skids and OEM rear locker. Also had steel bumpers instead of plastic.
Badlands maybe. How did the ZJ do, your wife let you drive it….with your “send it” attitude 😂
