What have you done to your rig today?

Finally fixed my rear spring mount that's been tearing off the frame that I have been ignoring. Also learned that I need to upgrade the power in the garage at my new house as my breakers don't play well with my welder. Tied the spring mount into the bed mount with some 3/16 I had laying around.

Finally bought spares for all my trailers, and put new tars on the tow rig today. Phew that hurt, I guess all the rubber trees got the Rona and stopped producing...

Drove ‘Mater to Mocksville to see @WARRIORWELDING today.

He’s just as smart and polite in person as online 😎
Thanks man, same can be said for you. Seems like most time I meet a NC 4x4 member it's like meeting a life long friend. Come back anytime. Maybe if I can get my Jeep road worthy we can go catch some highway miles and mountains.

Y’all ride up our way and eat at the Loaded Goat or RJs with us soon.

Trees fell and blocked access to the back field. Tree strap, chain, d rings and 5.38s to the rescue. Didn’t take pictures of the big logs, but I might have enough firewood for a whole season.
LSJ? (log skidder Jeep)

I read a book called “Lights Out” a few years ago where they plowed with a Jeep.

@ponykilr jeeps to me are a tool. They get the job done until a bigger/better tool is needed.
may dad actually told me that if I could rig a bush hog up to one he’d buy it. My response was “you know that’s possible right?” And proceeded to try to convince him that the Farmall 140 needed a sidekick!

Mirrors came in. Look and feel just like factory and look/function so much better than the little standard mirrors. Both of my old SDs had these and I just couldn’t get used to the small style.

If you ever want an even more impressive mirror, the 08+ mirrors bolt right on. They look great in the early trucks, but also offer much better view behind you.

These were 85 bucks delivered. I’m sort of weird about correct year model stuff.

I usually am too...but I went to the 15+ style mirrors on my 2500HD and I'll never go back! They're sooo much better for visibilty.
I put 15+ Chevy mirrors on my Ram because they are better. The convex mirror on the Ram is better than the 99-04 Fords, but still nowhere near as good as the 05+ Superduty and 15+ GMs. I'd like to compare 05-16 Superduty mirrors to the 17+ but most of my friends are peasants.

What's below peasant? (As I look out the window at my '97 f350 with missing driver side mirror and passenger side pointing straight at the ground)

Whale poo?
