What have you done to your rig today?

Hardtop and doors off, swampers on, new headers on and new motor mounts again (this time with the interlocking wings so maybe they won't rip apart on the first obstacle). Test fit on the trailer with sons gladiator. Heading north to VA next weekend.

Pull the pins and slide them under the gladiator and strap them down. It's a pain but it works

Pull the pins and let them lay there and pick up some aluminum ramps for situations like this.

Was it actually leaking or was it a wiring/actuator/controller issue?

Wasn't leaking, heater core was clogged internally. After seeing how bad the coolant looked, I'm not surprised. Coolant expansion tank is full of sludge along with the rest of the cooling system. Planning to replace almost everything and do a thorough flush.

Moving right along.

Just got back and loaded. Cold up here, hasnt been above freezing since we arrived. White whale was slimy but the CJ made it. Johny did good in his gladiator and only had to pull cable once.( He did not attempt white whale, but he spotted me up). No damage this trip other than my already roached waggy front springs are worse.

Cummins started up and immediately through a def tank heater code. Cleared it and it came back then cleared it again and the cel is off but my ezlynk still sees it. Usually doesn't get to 18 degrees in the coast so who knows how long the def heater has been junk. Hoping this doesn't send me into limp mode on the way home tomorrow.
