What have you done to your rig today?

Cheap plastic one will work for now. Skid plates and rock sliders are the next purchase and they're pricey.

You're telling me.... I just did all four wheel bearings and rotors, front/rear pads, rear calipers, Kryptonite wheel studs and axle washers, relocated the oil filter, changed the oil, and put in a new Rack Boss 2.0 with new tie rods on my XP Turbo. 🥲 It was neglected in its former life, but she's good to go now!

As far as big money stuff, I still need a good skid plate, RS1 front diff swap, a better cage, windshield, and dual rate springs. I've been chipping away at it, slowly but surely. I plan to do some seat heaters too, luckily those are less than 50 bucks for a pair.

Well...this escalated quickly :D

I got an upgraded RS1 front diff, Trail Armor skidplates, a 2017 XP Turbo front fascia for more air flow, and scored an absolute steal on a cage/rear bumper/roof/glass windshield on marketplace! Going to scuff it up and paint it black, of course.

Now I really need the front diff bracket to show up so I can put the front suspension back together. We're going on a WV ride Feb 26th and coming back March 2nd.

Also, Trail Armor has free shipping all month if anyone wants some badass skidplates! It'll save you 150 to 200 bucks on these big, heavy boxes.

Front diff bracket showed up Friday evening. Started working on that after I got back from Elizabeth City to pick up the cage. Me and my buddy had to swing by Old Colony Smokehouse in Edenton while we were up that way too :D Thursday night was spent trimming plastics to fit...and then getting stitches.

Just have to do the skidplates and the cage. The trip may be delayed/canceled. The flooding up there in WV hit right where we were planning to go!

All this work and the only thing that looks any different is the grille :shaking:

I'm gonna at least go out and start it.
That way I'll have the security of knowing I can sit in the house and cuss at the weather like an grumpy old man by choice.

Too lazy to scroll back to see if you recently upgraded tires...but those tires really good too!

I got those a couple of months ago. Sold the old Maxxis Carnivores for 400 bucks, so these didn't hurt too bad. They're System3 Offroad XC-450 in the 33x10-15 flavor on 15x7 System3 SB-4 bronze beadlocks. The rims were on it when I got it. Haven't had these out on a ride yet, but they've done great in snow/ice, on pavement, a little mud, and they ride nice because they're radials. Plus, they're 10 ply and still plenty flexible.

Or did you replace them as well
Cams were fine. I pulled them because I didn't know any better and I bought the plastic gear lock things so that's the way it happened. I learned after the fact that you can wiggle the rockers out without removal. If I had to do it again, I could do it in 1/4 of the time.

I got a parts truck that same color if you need anything. Not sure what’s robbed already or good though haha
Hood and front fenders have some cancer in them. Also looking for an early tilt auto column, if it happens to have one.

nice. I looked at those wheels for a minute. Did you spray clear the outside, or something else? Clearing and interior are the next big things on my list.
It's poppys patina clear coat. You can spray it or wipe it. I did the interior as well, still need to have the door panels covered in the same color as the seat.

Also tucked the rear bumper.

I have been looking at the wipe-on clear vs spraying.

Is that a Snowden seat? I saved one just like that, someone was selling on IG.

The rear bumper from a K5? Mine still has the step bumper. Trying to decide between a rollpan or other bumper. Will likely go bumper since Im not planning to delete the front one.
