I got the 42s and racelines mounted up on Thursday and Saturday I went through and checked all the fluids and bolts then lubed everything and now I think she's ready for Dixie Run.

When you get tired of those heavy 42s bogging you down, I know a guy who'll swap some 40s with ya...
See you Friday am buddy!

Yeah I look forward to this weekend for many different reasons. Do you know how much the 40s weigh mounted up on your wheels?

I recently neutered my 4wd Cherokee service truck. Front diff was shot, cg front axle is in two and pulled inner shafts and dropped the front DS out. Next to go us the 4x4 label. It sees so much asphalt and so little mud that It doesn't matter. I can say though it's the only 2wd that did my buddies private 4wd trail.. with a winch. (To service his dead xj, wouldn't do it otherwise, just too many tools not to take it. Used a quad when I went back to change the fuel pump because of the hassle getting my Jeep out) feels faster going down the road though. It's only 4900# with me in it, so 4750# without me, whats a stock xj curb? 3450?

Cue a song from high school by The Offspring...You gotta keep it insulated.

Those that have ridden in my truck know it is both loud and hotter than the 4th level of Hades inside. I covered it from 1/2 up the firewall to the bottom of the slider. Added a molded rubber mat FTW.
Dang if I was still rollin w doors and a full top Id have some a/c.

You'll want that heat this winter

I managed to change out the fuel pressure regulator on my 02 LB7 Duramax today. It idles nice and smooth now! My ribs and stomach feel like Chuck Norris round house kicked them though. I should invest in one of the "truck creepers" that you lay on over top of the motor...it'd probably keep the sore ribs to a minimum.
