What have you done to your rig today?

I was messaging the guy some, but he stopped answering. Seemed fairly solid, and a stupid good deal.

Ya he said he had a couple people from NC wanting it.
It’s pretty solid it’s had some tubes replaced/added here or there and a couple welds need to be redone but none of that is a big deal for what he payed for it

Welded the rear flares on robs jeep, still waiting on the back half so I can make it a roller.

Then took my tons to the carwash for a bath before I tear them apart to go through them before going in the orange TJ.

@trailhugger's Jeep got a new Novak shifter, a body lift, and some different Brown Dog motor mounts. If I'd known the headlights needed to come out in order to replace the grill snubbers, I wouldnt have installed her new Hellas last weekend.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I broke the end off of the dipstick on @trailhugger's Jeep. I thought I was going to have to pull the tube or EZ-out the damn thing, but I got lucky with a couple of picks and worked it back out of the tube. Grabbed a spare dipstick out of the parts pile, and it's like it never happened.

Damn Dipstick!

Got the leaf springs all but installed this past weekend. Damn things have fought me ever step of the way.
Aside from the ghetto subframe brace being poorly installed by the PO and me having to cut it to pieces to both remove the old leaves and install the new, NOTHING went as described on the install instructions.
I had to notch more of the brace to fit the new leaves with the del-a-lum bushing, the shackles didn't go together at all like was described due to fuel tank and body panel clearance, and the passenger leaf pack had a slight twist in it so I had to use my 24" pipe wrench to tweak it around to get some of bolt holes to line up.

What a damn pain...

Started to weigh all this stuff. Damn front axle loaded with air locker and 1550 chromos, ram and stuff was 657. Plus whatever the rest of the welding wire weighs.

The 14 bolt with the truss and all was 435.

Both weights are after video g off all the old crap and replacing it and adding chromos.

I love real data! Front 60's are heavy. Make sure you run em with recentered H1 beadlocks with the 1 piece rubber runflats still inside on the heaviest load range E swampers you can find (mine were 38" SX's and weighed out right at 170lbs per corner!)
