Passenger side fender removed and ready for the JCR Highline’s to go on this week.

Fabbed a new drivers side motor mount, replaced my busted power steering pump (see broken motor mount) and cleaned it up.

Got the T5 put back together from the cj7 I picked up. Funny what running 90 weight gear oil will do to one instead of atf. If I could quit working 12 hour days, I might get it going again.

Chased a handful of carb issues and finally got it to run on its own!!

Now the damn fuel pressure regulator is spewing fuel from what looks like a weep hole at the top of the assembly.
I’ve never messed with an FPR before so I’ve gotta see if it’s something I can rebuild or if I should just replace it. At first glance it looks like it’s just a diaphragm I can replace though.

BTW. Advance Auto house brand carb gasket kits are terrible.

I debated whether it was worth the work to set it down in the frame. But, after measuring and just looking at it, it is nice. The winch was just below the top of the grill when sitting on top of the frame rails. I don't know that it would have made a difference to the Jeep running hot or not, but in my mind I thought it might.

With help from @Jason W. and @josh$$ we were able to get the new JCR highlines on today and everything under the hood relocated. I am very pleased with the fit and look of these fenders and their inner fenders as well. Looks like I’m good to go up to 40’s when I am able to save up enough $$$$ for tons and tars.

I think it was in @XJfreakHO build thread that somebody posted one of these steel hawse fairleads. I didn’t even know they existed, but I thought I’d give it a whirl. Won’t call it an upgrade until I’ve tried it out. Only difference is I went with a Warn branded one because I’m a “brand whore” sometimes. That is all.

Fished a 12/2 power wire through the passenger frame rail from front to rear to start my trailer wiring over the weekend hopefully. Also plan to check over everything on the fender install and wire in the front blinkers.

Redid the reverse lights. Had them on the tub but the tire carrier bolted over one of them. Also got the front track bar rebuilt. Hopefully no more death wobble now.

been working on a CJ2A DD/crawler. this is the culmination of several weekends but today it all came together. SM465 totally rebuilt with NOVAK adapter, updated with 3/4 mainshaft spacer, upgraded shifter detent springs, 3/4 improved clutch, drilled and tapped vs roll pins for cane retention. then full rebuild of D300.
sure its just hanging there, but will give me an idea of clocking, and how to mock the twin stick.
very happy, its a stout combo, and all factory fresh!
