What have you done to your rig today?

Installed a Durango 160a alternator on my xj to replace the failed stock reman.. bolted right in, just had to lose the stamped steel bracket on the front. I don't think it'll affect it at all.
What year model Durango? Was it plug and play?

Mostly. 03 Durango has the plug in style connector, should be the same as on later xjs. I stole the charging wire with the fusible link and went straight to the battery to bypass the 120a of fuses in the pdc. I believe if you went back to like 98 Durango it would be the type with the screw connections.

Pulled up a bunch of fence posts that were inside my property boundaries from a previous neighbor. Doesn't redeem it's Inability to pull the stump I yanked a couple of weeks ago across my yard... But it's a start.

Had the horn fixed to pass inspection. First time it's worked since I bought the Jeep 3 years ago

Stripped the back half down for some work.

Too little money [& I'm a tightwad], Lots of time, & too much "Stuff" laying around. Bought a Bag Style fire extinguisher holder, some time back, that straps to the roll bar. Never cared much for it, so with Much thinking, some experimenting, & using what I had, I think I'm going to be happy, with my Creation!:cool:

@Jeff B
Pic from port side? I want to see what you took off the valve guide bosses. I'll have to run my inspection camera down my intake and snap a few of how mine were hogged out.. bet it's not shiny now though.

Not much at all there. Just making it shiny..

Finally got some new shoes for it. I left the spacers that were on it for running some dodge wheels and had to remove my slightly tweaked bumper. Next, I think I'll get me some vinyl down the A pillar that says OBS with smaller letters that will make it say Back Spaced under it.....trying to earn some street creds with the Offsets bros.

And the 3 studs that didn't survive. 1 was a crossthread with a gnarly chunk in it and I'm guessing the other 2 were tightened to 10 dugga dugga because they pretty much fell off as soon as I touched them

I didn’t get to work on anything fun, just the garage itself. Got a 500 gallon propane tank a few weeks ago. Got it painted and set today. Hopefully having a larger tank will allow me to buy once in the summer instead of getting my 125 filled during the coldest months of the year.

Used the HD to drag my excavator over to my house and got in a little seat time taking out a few small trees I had in one area.

Used the bronco to rip grape vine out of the woods behind my place. Pictured is about half of what I pulled and most was about 4-6" in diameter. It was in the way of where I want a 4-wheeler path/shooting stand for when I make my small-arms gun range.

About 40% of that was underground, the rest was above/in the trees. I ripped about 3 12"-ish diameter limbs out of an oak and pine getting this crap to drop.

There's still plenty of little vine left back there, maybe next weekend I'll get that up so I can start mowing the wild grass in there and keep it clean.

After that was done I went to roll up the windows and my passenger side wouldn't come up. Went around the suv and found the door and carpet was full of water. The window mustvem been down since elast weekend and it filled up with all of this rain we got. Gah. Got the window up but the regular gears are toasted inside.
