The younger dog had never seen snow (she'll be 1 next week and came from a rescue down east) so she woke us up, barking at it, around 4am.

6" of snow on the picnic table in the deck here. Seems deeper out in the yard and there are a bunch of newly-fallen leaves on top of it. Kids are making a snow man and a fort. Big plans for Jenga and catching up on the Lego Advent calendar. Now it's turned to sleet.

Actually the main strip of 27 in Linkerton is 27 and 150, so he's not completely wrong. But everybody who's anybody knows that's 27.
Yeah, 150 joins from the Walgreens just past BBQ King. It's also called Main St through Boger City.

Charlotte got skipped :shaking:. We have about 2-3" of snow/ice with more ice coming. Currently sitting at work staring at the cameras and laughing at idiots who can't drive. Only 8 more hours to go...

Yeah sitting on what looks like 2 inches of snow and 2 inches of sleet here in the greater Stanley metropolitan area.

Went out this morning in the Lincoln to check the roads...plows did just enough to remove loose snow and leave a nice compacted ice layer. Saw a half dozen folks lose the momentum/braking battle against hills. Got home, got the toddler ready to play outside...delayed by a trip and busted lip, but she recovered quickly.

I’ve heard reports of somewhere not being able to melt the snow... with fire lol wtf seen it on fb so has to be true! Dude used a torch and no water at all scientific shit going on there or what??

Tougher drive than expected in our 2" of sleet/ice, this morning. Pulled a Toyota TRD [Not 4 wh dr] out of a ditch on a slanted road, & another 100' to get him into his condo road! Didn't have time to get pics of the pull, as we took up all the street!

Primary roads are pretty good, just a layer of slush. No problem going 20-30mph with oncomingoncoming and 30-40mph solo.

Secondary/tertiary roads are complete crap. 6" of Packed snow and sleet that wants to push you all over the place. Only way to go in the direction you want is to stay on the throttle and keep the front wheels pulling.

Headed over to check on the parents.
