What have you done to your rig today?

Not my rig but helped remove a tire carrier off of a tj that was falling off after some mall crawling litreraly. Ended having to break out the grinder and a cutting wheel right before the soccer game. Ended up being the tire carrier was held on by 2 pieces of 16 gauge metal that was bent on purpose and had crappy welds. Carrier was holding a 35 12.50 general grappler, hilift and two jerry cans. BFH, pry bar, and grinder helped with removal. College students solutions hook a tow strap to it and a tree. They didn't realise it was bolted to the frame until I explained, "what if the bracket doesnt break before the frame or bolts?" Bolts also held the hitch and went through the frame and the rear crossmemeber.

How does this look to y'all? 318 magnum, timing gear dots are 12 & 12, rotor is on the "1" mark and oil shaft slot it's pointing toward cylinder one. First time getting this deep in a motor, I feel like it's where it should be, just getting reassurance.

I did this just to piss off all the haters:

Get some air bags already! Did the Jeep move under its own power or did you have to winch it onto the trailer? Is it really going to be put in 4wd and drive over a rock bigger than the average curb?

How am I doing:D

Yeah, sounds about right :flipoff2:

I do need some airbags. In the 2.5 years I owned my 6.4 I bet I pulled a loaded trailer twice. In the 2 months I've had the 6.7, it's had almost as many loaded miles as it has unloaded. And I'm blown away at how much better the 6.7/6 speed auto combo pulls compared to the 6.4/5 speed. The 6.4 was definitely faster, but I swear this 6.7 feels stronger with a load behind it than it does empty, and is definitely the better tow rig.

And to keep this relevant to the thread, I drove around til I found some mud puddles and stopped and splashed some on the tires and fenderwells.

may well be the best mod i've ever done. kissed a rock with the cross member at dixie run. since that time i've had a squeak driving me bat crap crazy. finally hunted it down. cross member pushed up a tad and that loose flappy pc of metal on the gas tank skid was barely resting on the end of that bolt. bent it over a tad and added a little rubber cap.

Resealed the fuel bowl on my 7.3 and replaced the associated rubber fuel lines. New output shaft seal on my d350, and changed the trans fluid. Wire wheeled and Painted my trailer hitch. Picture is before the first coat.

Got the driver side head back together and the new valve stem seals on the other. Also got new o-rings on the injectors and put them back in the fuel rail. Slowly, but surely getting there.

That's kinda sexy!

Put a Marlin crawler seat and bushing in the shifter because it liked to just spin in circles reworked the fuel lines through a cheap Mr gasket electric pump on it think the cam must be wore out because it won't pick up fuel with two different mechanical pumps and in the process of pulling the new AutoZone alternator because it is not charging
