Not my rig but helped remove a tire carrier off of a tj that was falling off after some mall crawling litreraly. Ended having to break out the grinder and a cutting wheel right before the soccer game. Ended up being the tire carrier was held on by 2 pieces of 16 gauge metal that was bent on purpose and had crappy welds. Carrier was holding a 35 12.50 general grappler, hilift and two jerry cans. BFH, pry bar, and grinder helped with removal. College students solutions hook a tow strap to it and a tree. They didn't realise it was bolted to the frame until I explained, "what if the bracket doesnt break before the frame or bolts?" Bolts also held the hitch and went through the frame and the rear crossmemeber.
