Ahh, the joys of living on flat ground! :driver: That driveway kinda looks like a big ol' hill of slick clay...I would hate to know that I couldn't get up my driveway just because it rained. Do you just have to walk? Is it a long driveway?

I don't live there yet so it doesn't matter. I am not making the driveway nice until I am actually living there. My plan is to move a BUNCH of dirt from further up the hill down to the bottom to make the driveway less steep.

If you EVER get a chance to fly in the Huey or Cobra (we did the Huey) take it. Took Corbin (my 5 y/o) up, we got to sit in the left door gunner seat and man it was a BLAST. Expensive at $170 (for 2) for about a 10 minute flight but he(and I) absolutely loved it. That's my truck/trailer in the pic.

Short story of a galaxy far far away. In ‘06-‘07 I was in Baghdad running a PSD team for a 2 Star and we had a meeting to go to in Ramadi with the USMC Commandant in Iraq (3 Star) we had our own blackhawks but due to maintenance issues we had to make the call and the Marines sent down aviation to pick us up. Time was agreed upon and as we waited on the HLZ from the horizon came a Super Cobra/ Huey gunship combo escorting a pair of CH-46 Sea Knights. From miles off you could hear the chud-chud-chud of the rotors. I swear to God you could hear Fogerty singing Fortunate Son in the background as they came in to land. It is a good feeling having that much hate escorting you wherever you’re headed to.

I thought about paying the 85 and doing it but decided to hang on to it in case I saw something to buy. I brought that 85 home with me.Didn't buy a dang thing.

I work on the UH/AH and CH/MH 53E. Never get to catch a ride on them though. I'd really like to ride along in any of the planes we work...they have T model AV8s, but no two seater F35s!

Don't wanna ride in a V22 though...hard pass on that.

I rode that thing too. Its a blast. We had enough people in our group to rent the whole thing.

Dropped the neck on the trailer so I can load the excavator. The last time I unhooked here (didn't drop the neck) I had major issues when rehooking. Have to use the winch to raise the trailer, but it kept sliding downhill off the side of the truck. Had to use the wrecker to hook it. I played it safe when unhooking, the trailer did slide a little but the chain to the excavator kept it from moving much. Big PITA to unhook and drop the neck even with two people. Can spool out the winch unless it is in neutral, and can't pull forward in neutral haha.

Why does it have Experimental next to the door opening on the helicopter?

From what I've been told, if any modification was made outside of the factory on an aircraft, it's technically experimental. Since this is used by the public's and as a business, it has to be made clear that it's "experimental".

Not sure if that is 100% accurate, but that's all I got.

PM me what your asking please. My friend is hunting for one of these. Thanks.

It is on GovPlanet. They have the starting price at $6k but I will probably have them change it to $30k. Honestly I would like to sell it for $40k and include a ton of parts and an a/c unit with it. The last MK that sold on GP (a 5th wheel not a wrecker) went for $35k+ fees (so about $40k)

But with THAT I can make it where you CAN....plus turn around :D

Buy your own excavator haha. I have been clearing off about a 1/2 acre that was heavily wooded for a guy down the street from my house. Got the last tree knocked down just before the rain started. Knocked a bunch down with the skid steer first, now I have to work on putting them all in piles. He will have 3-4 massive brush piles when I am done.
