CNC plasma table thread! 5x10 Premier

oh ok, that makes sense.
I finally got my table to cut today...it's cutting like crap but it cuts lol.
Ended up yesterday finishing the day with somehow making the Torch NOT work....good job dummy now your going backwards.
Spent 3hrs this morning to get the Torch to fire....3hrs later Everlast Tech guy tells me in 2sec why it didn't work and then it worked...WTH HAHA (stupid)
THC finally registers Raw Arc Voltage at 138 while cutting...still researching/learning of what that means and how to interpret these numbers and adjust them
The Program/Software is still giving me issues I think...or the THC control is making it act stupid cause it cut 2 test parts but torch still does weird behavior while cutting....it'll go up really high while trying to cut but then continue on to the next line/cut and go back to normal cutting...then it'll stop cutting but continue to run the program and Torch will randomly fire back up and finish cutting....weird weird weird dam program driving me crazy....
The weirdest part is the outer perimeter cut is perfect!! The "inside" cuts are ugly....I could do better by hand lol. I just drew a 5" square with 1/2" holes in the corners and a 2" hole in the center.
I know my "inside offset" cut process that I set up in SheetCam is for the 5 holes so apparently I maybe am still getting that wrong....not sure at this point what is causing the issue.
THC turned on, it will not cut...weird....torch will fire (sometimes) and just stay still like the cartoon "which do I go George, which way do I go" LMBO (I have to laugh a little now since 4 full days later I finally got this thing cutting I'm kinda losing what little is left of my mind..
So I have THC off but the Proma SD still reads the Raw Arc Voltage which is at 138 steady while cutting.
When I turn Proma THC ON, light flashes "yellow" instead of being a solid Green....WTH I keep thinking it's the wiring but it came wired from guy I bought it from and it worked perfectly for him. The only wire he unplugged was the Start/Stop wires and Voltage wires going to the Plasma cutter, everything else stayed together wired in since we moved the table all in one piece....
Sorry for long post.....kinda felt good to type all this out now, I can breath a little and I have hope in this thing
John do you have an inversion table for your back? They make a world of difference.

the doc had mentioned one of those that could help daily pain relief, especially when it does act up but long term as mentioned, nothing but surgery would help that aspect of the nerve...can't really fix something that's not there lol. as for day to day operations, it's all up to me to not slouch over while working or especially welding...that's when it gets bad like I've gotten stuck in that position bad (usually my fault though for welding in that position). It's all good, being self employed I manage it pretty well now since I can stop, stretch, move into diff position on just stop and chill for a few to reset it

I have had 3 vertebrae fused in my neck and have 2 herniated disks and one ruptured in my low back. I wouldn’t agree to surgery of any kind but the best surgeon in the state told me there is no surgery available yet to fix bone growth into the nerve space.

I suffer through, like you, but the inversion therapy is a Godsend. It relieves it so the swelling goes down and nerves are less aggravated.

Get one, seriously.

Big huge thanks to @braxton357 for coming over and spending time to fix my table issues..we got it cutting!!!
Now to practice and get familiar with it. Thank you again sir for your time.

Contrary to his internet persona, he's actually a halfway decent dude. đź‘Ť

My first piece I cut...last piece on my rig, truss brace for front axle lol..not bad, I gotta dial in the circles still.

Dang dang dang I'm loosing my mind with this homing the table. It's the only thing I cannot comprehend. I have my business sign loaded in mach 3 but no matter what when I run simulator it doesn't go to right area and this would be a huge screw up...ayyayay

Nice John!

Keep going and live doing what you love.

Now you can make a nice NC4X4 sign and donate it to the raffle. Just imagine one of your haters winning that!
Wait I still have haters...awe man

3 weeks of ridiculous hours and its finally feeling rewarding! But this week I gotta make some money haha, got a trip coming up!
@GotWood I will try and make a nc4x4 sign by Friday to offer up for the raffle, will do my best.

Cutting random stuff playing with the table, got my money's worth outta this sheet

I hope you've added some good ventilation and acoustic dampening, or at least hearing protection to that shop

Seriously. The noise off of those is no joke. We had a 10'x24' Hypertherm driven table.... That bisch would scream, especially on the thick (2") stuff. Sheet metal was fine, made a pretty good whistle. But heavier gauge and plate was pretty loud.
