8 weeks left until KOH race week..... I'm learning quickly that things are different in the 4400 class. I have to take this a lot more serious, so I have decided to create an Unlimited Class prep To-Do list to make sure I don't forget anything:
Brah.... this is insane. I went through seven tire brushes getting these things shined up. And why are the tires so soft? They are squeaky as hell in the parking decks.
Short track laps were as slippery as a pair of Dolce and Gabbana gloves at a Kardashian baby shower, I may lay off the Armor All for the next outing. The #4410 knocked out a few rounds before some battery issues ended our day.
Black Friday sales, or "the show", as we mall crawlers refer to it, made a battery swap mostly painless. And by swap, I mean I opened the box, saw the new battery needed terminals screwed into it (meaning I would have to do some actual labor) and stopped immediately. I have placed calls to 5 fab shops in my area and will proceed with the swap based on their feedback:
Speaking of kick ass shops, my good friends at S and L Customs in Mooresville, NC cleared a bay for some electrical work and body modifications. In an air tunnel, which I have never used, I can only assume that by adding pieces of aluminum would clearly make me faster. So I brought my Picaso'esc card board designs over and they appeased me ;-).
S & L drop off-
- Tire shine 39"s
- Wax chest
