There was so much waxing going on between the race car, truck and trailer, I ended up with a Brazilian myself. No clue how it happened, but what ev's, I can feel an incredible breeze through a 2 layer race suit now .

I got a great surprise right before heading out to California, latest issue of 4Low Offroad Magazine! Had no clue about this:

Just back from round 1 of pre-running. Followed Clay Gilstrap around for 63 miles at a mild pre-run pace.... Well, actually for 50 miles. The last 13 miles are wide open and I had the throttle pinned and just watched him disappear. My car wouldn't go any faster and he just left me. #respect.

Managed to get 100mph on lap one practice. The car is ripping out here! On to King shocks now for more tuning.

By the way, how does one exactly crash there bumper on the "desert" lap? I seemed to have found a way haha.

Tuned all morning with King. New springs all around. A lot stiffer, but better suited for the big whoops.

Blew out a bypass seal yesterday. Replaced and back ready to go. Just need to wash and enjoy the EMC!

Couldn't have had a better week or better race until the fire.

@mcutler's pre-race prep put me in such a good car, just heart breaking to not get it to the finish.

A huge shout out to @falco! Who messaged me on @NC4x4 and wanted to volunteer to help with the race team. He worked from sun up to well past sun down in the desert this week. Lucky to have him as part of our team!
