Post up your weekend project!!

Mostly.... But some in the kitchen too. I know it's probably due to the moisture issue we had. We had to have a complete remediation done under the house. I don't have a lot of pop outs really and now that we have the humidity under control, it's probably ok. I'm pretty sure there was a water leak in the kitchen at some time too.

.......builders .......... you can see where corners were cut. A lot of things wouldn't have taken but a minute or two more to do it right....

Right after we bought our house, we added a sun room from the "big guys right beside I-40 in G-boro".
3-4 day job ..... when he asked for money I handed him a 57 item punchlist for 10x14 sun room.
It took a month to get it all fixed. They tried to get money 4 or 5 times, and tried to cut deals to keep from fixing it all.

I finally called the company, told them I would have the guy who done the original work arrested if he showed up again, 3 trys and he still couldn't fix everything.
After a nice long talk with the financial manager ...basically me saying no money til it's all fixed over and over and over ........

Most of it was simple laziness.

Started clearing a spot in the woods for a shed.

Now it looks like this:

Moved the axle back about 9", bought a new axle, new tires, new wire, added a receiver hitch to the rear crossmember, and ground out a LOT of old, questionable welds - replacing them with new questionable welds.

Which motor? Those are some sweet rides!!

It is the L76 6.0L engine. It is a regular GT and not a GXP. Still hauls ass though. Buddy of mine went in to CVS and came out to his car smashered. Insurance totalled it, I bought it off of him, and now have a sweet daily with just a little tweaking on the body. I'll probably end up about $1500 in the repair. :)

There were a couple of those at Fayetteville dragstrip awhile back running 9s!! Talk about a sleeper!! Really opened my eyes to those little sedans.

Little? Are you sure you're talking about a G8? Those are pretty big, that's like a 4000 pound car.

Yeah, these things are pretty big cars. They have a ton of power and that makes up for it though. I'm really amazed how well it up and gets and takes turns with all the weight though. Big girl can move!

I'm trying NOT to do much to it. I still need to run brake lines on that TA in the pic so I can get it tuned. That's my fast car. Built 6.0L with a 150 wet shot.

It's the same-ish weight as a Camaro, and lighter than a Challenger or a CTS-V; the weight is not a problem given the right tires and some good suspension bits.

I've always liked those cars, mostly because of the Holden/Vauxhall connection. I would love to get my hands on a Ute or Maloo actually.

But yes, there is nothing that can't be made better with a pair of properly sized and fast spooling turbos.:D

Fuzzy pic. Made a floating dock a few years ago but it was unstable. So repurposed the wood and started a real dock. Plan is to go to the left some more and also go about 12 feet out on the water with a platform at the end.

Changing heater core for a friend. Half way through I remember how bad these suck.
