Project dirt dobber

I have my stops set to stop travel when the the wiper on the back of the knuckle turns back on the axle tube. Maybe the fact that your tires aren't covered by fenders makes it look like more but i swear I'm not getting near that..

Yeah I'm also welded

Got to do some disassembly. Pulled interior and panels to make the work easier and got started on removing the front end. Radiator, fan and winch is gone. Radiator is relocated to behind the seats. Electric fan. New winch mount for it to double as a sick down winch.

I have the next week off so I wanted to start the new year right...organized and efficient. That means, that I can do whatever I need to get my buggy up and going as soon as possible without cutting any corners... Well sitting in the corner of my shop for the past 3 years has been a very expensive parts table. It only has 20-49 hours on it and when I got it still has over 2 years warranty..well now I dusted it off and cleaned the mice out of their homes, filled it up with water and wired up my shop for my plasma table, it's a plasma cam 4x4 table and I turned my computer and the table on last night, grabbed my plasma cutter from my buddy,s shop this morning and my goal is to cut the first piece of metal before the end of 2015

I've been working on my table and getting it up and running. Its going to be really nice to have it. For christmas, I was given a corbeau ultra wide. So I should be getting some work done so I can have some seat time, not sure if I posted but I have got a seat for the wide and kids as well. I'll change out the wife's and kids seats and keep my fat boy fabulous seat in the driver's side,, I'll have to get a pic of the k8's seat, it's a prp preteen black vinyl as well,

First piece of 3/16" plate made some shock tabs. Came out really nice. 2.25" long with a 1/2" hole. I drilled out after and they barely deburred at the end of the hole, so I still have some angle adjustment on my torch handle. But over all a really nice cut,

Was able to get some stuff done now that I'm back in track from surgery. Gotta get this thing done asap. But always have some family projects that take priority. Tree house is in the top of the list. It will have a slide, suspension bridge, flap door in the floor, zip line and rope ladder thingy my son wants. And railings around where there isnt anything going on to keep kids from falling. Normal deck railings, and a tarp roof over half . 8x10' 7 ' hi. So it should be fun. Here's where I'm at as of yesterday.

I have the sub floor finished. Decking is waiting until I get the four corner supports finished and it is safe to be up there, the 3/16" brackets I made on the corners will bolt to the railing 4x4s too so it should be more then enough and it is cool to put your kids names in there, they are excited. I haven't told them about the zip line. Still trying to figure out the design of it. But i have plenty of winch cable from a service truck,

Working on the brackets for the corner support to go to the tree base, 4x4s are going to used and bolted at the top and just sandwiched on the bottom. I'm going to lag screw the bracket into the tree base with two 1/2" x 4" lag screws. I think that will be sufficient for the platform. I'm also doing a suspension bridge with the winch cable I replaced with synthetic rope. So I am going to working on that next. as well as finishing the railings
