Commando axle swap, got a HP44 and D60. Shackle reversal up front and a touch of stretch on both ends. Customer is planning to drop a LS/auto in it at some point. Just a simple beach cruiser.

Sway bar install and little suspension geometry changes on a linked CJ. It was extremely sketchy before the changes, I about put the thing in the ditch multiple times on the initial test drive. Now cruises down the road with one hand on the wheel.

It's also stupid clean, 5.3/4l60 makes it move way faster than a CJ ever thought about.

I'll brag on this fool since he's so humble.

All this on the Sami build with no 'puters or software, just by eye. There's about 120ft. of round tube here and no more than 4ft. wasted.

Home boy got a little bit of skillz

Curious what changes you made on the CJ geometry? I dont know what it looked like before, but always up for learning what to and not to do.

All the work looks awesome BTW.

All the work looks awesome BTW.

Brought the lower links out on the axle side ~3" and the upper links up higher. The roll axis was awful before, the upper links were way to short, and there was barely enough triangulation with the lower links being parallel. Essentially had crap tons of rear steer due to the short uppers and parallel lowers. I couldn't get it perfect but with the changes and with the sway bar it made it much nicer to drive down the road.

Wanna try your hand at making a sweet bumper for my HD one day? Something along these lines is what I'm after. This guy was going to make 6 of them, but disappeared off FB. Oh well.

To be honest I don't have much a want to build plate style bumpers, that and I'm not really set up for that kind of fab work. The amount of time involved generally vastly out weights the cost of a kit or already done bumper.

Figured I'd ask. I think two places make decent looking bumpers for an 01/02 HD. Most stuff is 03+ and looks like garbage.

Said every fabricator with any damn sense.....

Oh and you did gears in my Dana 30… twice…

Edit: this had nothing to do with Chris. I am just an idiot who wheels a Dana 30 and my cross pin broke & took out a new R&P

That makes three of us....

My cross pin broke on my spartan at the ranch in my 30. Then a few months later I blew up my 8.25 when i broke an axle shaft. But I'm not running stickies.

Starting to look like a chassis. Thankful for the jig but at the same time it's not prefect. Had to open up the jig at the b pillar to get the tube through it and it's about an 1/8" short at the top. Everything else still lines up with all of etched tube lands though and still square and level so no big deal.

Should be playing in the spicey jungle gym tomorrow while finding all the spots I missed with the welder.

I can't seem to learn that lesson...

Looking good !
Nor can I, though generally I catch spatter down in my boots more than anything. Usually it's @77GreenMachine that touches picks up or touchs stuff that I just welded.
