The Tacoma got a new winch rope last night
Let's be honest I'll be doing the bolt check beer in hand, laying on a tarp in the campground at the park saying to myself "why didnt I do this Sunday in the garage" LOL
100%! "I'll do that next week before golden mountain...."Let's be really honest: it probably won't happen at all

Believe or not has no idea it was damaged if not for checking things out while doing a fluid changeHope you got a good price on that set. It looks like its gonna be a little noisy!
Funny how that happens sometimes. That's why I never change fluids or do any other maintenance.Believe or not has no idea it was damaged if not for checking things out while doing a fluid change
Just had mine out when I did ball joints. Replaced the Passenger side around 190k miles. Still rolling the original driver's side at 226k.

You know the trick to push them out with the power steering right?
Mine looked like that last I checked. I hit it with the air compressor for a “temporary fix” six months ago. I’m glad you reminded me.
Advantage of owning shit too old for them things lol or I hope they don’t have them
I think the previous owner had that mentality tooAdvantage of owning shit too old for them things lol or I hope they don’t have them
Had a couple npr trucks come in the last few weeks complaining about a/c. They were both stopped up with about a 1/2” thick blanket. But they use a screen so it’s just clean and go.I think the previous owner had that mentality too
I'm gonna wear my WTFab hat tonight just for good juju.Picked up my tow rig from the dealer from some warranty work. It was making oil, and had loud valvetrain tick (presumably from all the diesel in the oil). Not sure that im convinced that there isn't more hidden damage from the shitty oil, but it got push rods, rockers, injectors and connector tubes. Sounds a hell of a lot better, now I just have to drive it and keep an eye on the oil levels to see if that did the trick. I'll be driving it to Nova Scotia in a few weeks so i guess we will find out.
Also, @getstucksome came over and helped me get the XJ to roller status, which has got a little bit of wind in my sails to get back to work on the build. Still a lot to do, but it should be yard driving fairly soon. going from 30" rollers to the old dry rotted boggers really made it look like something is happening.
Wouldn't want to scratch that paint.New fender cover until I feel like messing with the piece again.

Then @braxton357 came by work and rubbed his pecker on the grille. Still missing on 2 cylinders. Weird.
