What have you done to your rig today?

Zip tie and ratchet strap Saturday mocking up front shock mounts.

Fixed the AC in the XtraJeep today. New evaporator, new condenser, new lines, and new dryer. Works pretty good, but the RockAuto TYC condenser is about 30% thinner than the one it replaced, so I don’t know how well it will do on the hottest days.

Got the amp, Bluetooth receiver and EQ working on the Dave Chappelle style stereo that I'm swapping into the Tacoma. I got most of the interior put back together. All that I have left is put the rest of the interior back in, hook all the stereo components back up, realize that it doesn't work, take it all back apart again, trouble shoot, realize it's something stupid, get pissed, then reassemble the interior in a rage probably breaking some stuff in the process.

Oh and I have to drain and refill the trans, and swap out a rear u joint before the next trip.

Motobilt 13 bolt diff cover because rocks and the stocker = leaks

Got the atlas 4 speed in. Rear tires are on to see how much shit metal has to be removed.

Figured I would quote myself as I am like Nostradamus. So I'm prepping my truck to go wheeling in a couple weeks, prep because it sounds cooler than "fixing broke shit I have been ignoring". So test out the stereo setup a final time before reinstalling the carpet and assembling the interior, it "works", but I have a bad front pax side speaker. Do some trouble shooting and confirm it's bad. Fire up Amazon and order a new pair. Screw everything down under the seat, reinstall seat, test out stereo, and now both front speakers are not working FAWK!!! So I defer fixing that problem to future me when the speakers come in... Tomorrow. Changed out a rear ujoint on my spare rear shaft, all I have to do is jack up the rear, take the driveshaft end off and stick this one on, check the phase and I'll be ready to rock. Also changed the trans fluid for the first time, in, since uhhhhhhh like 2016 when I swapped this new one in.

So truck is "prepped"

Careful saying “all I have to do”. It’ll get ya.

CJ' ignition coil quit so it got a new one and cap and rotor.

Put a set of Thuren springs, track bar and Bilsteins under the front of the tow rig - gets new tires next week...

Put a new ignition control module on the toyota last week. It now runs much, much better............after replacing most of the propane system components chasing a stumbling problem down.

Troubleshot the no crank on my F250 this evening:
starter solenoid was good
clutch safety switch had some dirt in it...cleaned it up & it checked good
dropped the dash panel to get to the ignition switch and of course I didn't replace my T30 bit after it broke...added to the shopping list
checked the fuse last because 'it is never that easy' :dumbass: ...replaced with a good one & its back up to running! Now on to the fun part of finding out why the fuse blew Saturday but didn't 3-4 times tonight! :shaking:

How about... what I did to my rig in 2016!?

Was looking into my Dad's Christmas gift for this year and thinking about how he needs to upgrade his headlights on his XJ the same way I did way back when on my old one and managed to find my old order on Amazon. (Which was good because I'd forgotten what wiring harness I'd used.)

This upgrade was 100% worth it.

A few minutes every evening and a couple Capri suns later got my stock front axle pulled to be replaced with one with a Spartan,CavFab steering, and a 3 link. I've got some Ironman long arms for that I'd like to get put on...hopefully I can keep making progress....guess I better refill the Capri suns.
