What have you done to your rig today?

Went and picked up a free mower; but that mower came at a cost. Blew out and shredded both front tires loading it, and my dumbass left my tailgate down while moving the truck and trailer so now my almost pristine condition tailgate has some healthy scratches and a nice crease in it now. Luckily it's a 2 year only color from GM so I'm sure it'll be easy finding a replacement 🙄
Guess it's time for a trip to the body man.
It's a shame nobody had a rollback to move that mower with...

Aired up the flats and pulled into the shop to let the snow melt off before a bolt check/grease and some small repairs before the ranch in two weeks.

Finally got some work done after being sidetracked by the water leak in the house.

Installed driver side header, dipstick, radiator hoses, re attached clutch linkage, re installed steering column, and before that have the twin stick and T-18 4 speed swap in. Good ridence T-150.

I was thinking a tail wheel like little puddle jumper airplanes. What could possibly go wrong?

Glad to see the progress!
Me too,
Did power steering cooler last night. This weekend I'm going to start working on the Fuel, and maybe spark, Still haven't researched the best way to lock out the distributor and if the Ford Large cap is a better option.

Goin for the long Johnson mod?
That’s the plan. Needed more room for activities.

It is getting an Atlas while the body is off. Front dig with a tail wheel could work.

Rear half of the LJ frame is on it now. I’m gonna swap the t case and set the LJ body on tonight.

I had already done the headlights in the S10, but I got new tail lights and bulbs for it. Also changed a lower turn signal bulb out that, apparently, wasn't making contact and wouldn't let it flash. Then put the new headlight housings/LED bulbs in the CUCV and reinstalled the rear view mirrors in both trucks. I'm hoping this Loctite adhesive works better than the crappy Permatex kits you get at the parts stores! At least the adhesive looks like a nice, heavy duty epoxy and not super glue. It also has GM, Ford, and Mopar part numbers right on the front of the packaging. That makes me feel a little better about it.

Also sent @77GreenMachine a text to remind him that I "do it for Dale" and to wish him a "Dale yeah, brother!" :D

For any of you guys with sealed beam headlights that may be interested: they're Octance Lighting housings and SeaLight H4 LED bulbs. The lenses are glass and housings are metal. They're sealed up very well. I went with the stock appearing glass lenses so it would focus the light. LEDs tend to scatter horribly. I'm in them about 100 bucks a pair. Both of my trucks are a 6054/6x7 housing and I got it all on Amazon. Best 100 bucks I've ever spent!

If your headlights were anything like the ones on my crewcab I would definitely say that’s $100 well spent. I’m impressed.

Have you added any relays to the lights or you coming straight from the factory harness?

Which set did you buy from Amazon? I'm trying to find them but only found the ones for H4 bulbs. You convinced me to get a set my my cucv.

Maybe it's H4. I couldn't remember. I just know it's a single bulb with high/low.

This is the box the bulbs came in. Yep...they're H4s lol
