Sent paypal... Thx for organizing this, iPad is a FANTASTIC therapy tool, I would not be surprised if they don't introduce it to him soon anyway, but having his own will be great.

If they don't have it already, Netflix or similar username/password would be nice, a LOT more stuff to watch on it via the Hospitals wifi!

When we were in the stroke ward for a couple weeks, Em was on her laptop / was able to surf a bit with left arm and watch shows, etc. This was good for her development, especially when she started making herself use the mouse with right hand, etc.

Yeah, pretty sure they've got enough for the ipad and some itunes/etc gift cards for apps and stuff. The problem has been getting the money back out of the paypal account, but it sounds like that's all sorted out now.

Not saying that people should stop donating if they feel like they want to help out... I'm sure there will be other needs to come along. And if there aren't (w/o speaking out of turn here), I'm sure Mike will find a good way to use any remaining funds.

Just some other apps that might be "fun" and therapeutic is Zinio (electronic Magazines app, maybe subscribe him to the various 4x4 mags, they are pretty cheap) and naturally some good links to ECORS youtube videos, etc!

honestly, Taptalk and Forum Runner are not really needed on the iPad, I find them a pain to use, a pain to post anything as well.

NC4x4 looks just as queer on an iPad as it does any other Apple product......

Tapatalk is a great tool for any iPhone/iPad. You don't have to keep zooming in and out. With tapatalk it's already the right size. With a simple 2 clicks(besides the first time to put in username and p/w) you get right on the forum! I think that would be a great app to have on there.... IMO

I talked to Mikes brother today, Mike is improving by the day, talking more, moving around more.

Mike has changed hospitals ( again ) for Acute Rehabilitation Therapy. 2 week of this and he may get to go home, but it will be awhile before he's able to do anything close to what he used too do. ( If I know Mike, he'll do it anyway )

Going to pick up the iPad tonight, then bring it home and load up some apps and charge it.

also looking for a large good image of the NC 4x4 and Pirate 4x4 logos if anyone has those please.
