Toyota Monster Truck

Engine Bay

I got really lucky last week and located a new Cummins Adapter Plate, Flywheel, Wave Ring, etc specifially for a C6. I had no idea this set up existed. I was planning on having this stuff made but now I don't have to worry about it.

It is getting too hot outside!.......I did manage to get a lot done the last few days anyway. I got the engine put back in. I also installed the front bumper and added two more lights to the underside of the bumper. Lastly I added some art work to the hood. Next week I plan on putting in the C6. Not looking forword to that.

Snorkle

Also, I put the air filter on the top of the snorkle. I plan on re-plumbing this set up soon. This will be much nicer than before.

Build

This build is VERY VERY NICE, love all attention to detail.:D

ok just got to ask a ? any real reason for a snorkle with that amount of lift? just sayin... lol either way its still bad ass!
Good question, I go over board on everything I do. This truck has been built up a few times. The snorkle was added a while back when the truck was a lot smaller. If I remove it you would see several large holes in the fender, so thats really the reason. Also this will be the last build up! I got other projects to move on to next.....

I figure I might as well build it right this go round. I have had the truck 20 years now. I plan to pass it to my son one day. This will be the last build up, going any bigger would be beyond rediculous. Thanks for the Compliments!

always luvd nose bleed altitude on trucks, can I base jump from the bed?!? super nice build man!!! cant wait to see the finished pics.
LOL, Thanks! It turned out a little too tall, but this is by far the biggest most involved project I have ever taken on. Over all I am happy with it so far. It should work out well for what I built it for.

POD Injectors

I also purchased Prince of Darkness Injectors last week. This should be good for 30 more hp and 70 pounds of Torque. I am going to turn the pump up a little bit as well. This will be all I will do on the motor for now :)............

Oil Filter relocation

I had to relocate the oil filter. I am using an over-sized alternator and there was no room for the filter. I welded a steel plate to the shock hoop and came up with this......

C-6

I got the tranny installed be myself, with the help of a sissor lift table. I also installed a larger oil pan. Next week I plan to hook up an oil cooler with a built in fan. I want to keep this thing runnin as cool as possible....

what an amazing build, and looks like you are quite the fabricator too!
Thanks! I do ok. I end up re-doing things several times before I get it right. A lot of trial and error on my part. Some one with better skills would have had the truck done a year ago...LOL.....

Trans Cooler

Got a little bit done this morning. I mounted the tranny cooler and started digging out everything I need for the D300 rebuild.

Dana 300 upgrades:

Advanced Adaptors clockable adaptor kit

32 spline out put shaft with heavy duty tail housing

32 spline in put shaft

Twin sticks

New seals, etc....

With the tranny in and the front bumper on I am sitting about 3 inches lower as well.

Poser shot

I made a few adjustments on the front end. I think I got both front wheels pointing fairly straight ahead. Here is another pic of the front of the truck......
