Alaska Off-Road Warriors

they ALL whine and complain too much.... Maybe History will listen to the suggestions and make this a more legitimate show next season....... LOL then again who am I kidding. It's the History Channel and drama=ratings...

and there we have it..

Sitting in lunch area at work today and someone walks up and it like hey dont you go wheeling like those guys on the Alaskan tv show..and a few other here him and start chiming in about the show and how crazy those guys are and how hard the terrain looks etc..

all I thought to myself was they have no idea what I like to do and it is not that.. so I told them nope I dont do that and those guys are idiots and they looked at me like I was crazy..

I'm watching these dumb dicks now. I mean why would you go thur the mud holes and big trenches when it looks like there in big field to easily go around the stuff. I mean I like challenges but when I'm in a race for 100k I'm taking easiest way possible

It Looks tempting, but chances are that Green stuff, is the Bog. But They do seem to go around, when passing another that is Stuck.

Even though they heavily imply they are blazing trails... and have to "figure out" where to go to get to the camp, clearly they aren't...
Apparently they care enough to stay on the trail.
Just think, if they didn't, we'd have to deal w/ the greenies complaining about destroying the environment...

The more I watch it the more it all seems scripted. I'm surprised there's not some sort of love drama going on yet. Garbage ass reality TV.

well....... some have already said Pete and Shey share a ..... weird..... brotherly sister relationship

Overdramatized for sure... but it does look like some good wheelin' territory at least

those guys are posting on pirate. editing seems to sway what we see quite a bit.

how long before this show drives every Tom, Dick, and Harry out to go buy a 4x4 and really ruins the sport. Imagine URE or Harland so full of first timers that the trails are nothing but lines.... I say this b/c think back when american chopper started airing, the sales of Harleys and custom bikes probably doubled or tripled. And every idiot out there thought they were a seasoned biker. Now it's already started with all the soccer mom Jeeps... I know all you custom shop guys are gonna love it!

Ok I'm going to recant this statement now that we are a few episodes in..... My reasoning behind this is because if anyone outside of the wheeling community that is watching this, is getting the worst representation of the community possible and would probably steer clear of it. I have never been on a trail with or would want to be on a trail with anyone who acted like any of these guys (gal), and if I ever do, I know I would do the same. I know this show is edited and scripted for the drama factor but damn........ just..... damn.....

I don't think it shines a bad light on wheelers but people in general racing across a landscape. I don't see really anything wrong with what they're doing. They're sticking to a defined trail (for the most part). Even the narrator is explaining the reason behind the sloppy conditions. If anything after the tree issue in the beginning it's been mild IMO. If they weren't racing / competing I think the attitudes and issues wouldn't be there and thus there probably wouldn't be a show. Peoples loves the dramas.

show has its ups and downs alot of the engine sounds dont seem to be legit:confused: but who knows. However to be a offroad warrior, i see better rigs driving every day!

yea, what better way to end an offroad race then on a highway. Super jeep got stuck on the one large rock after saying it was built for the rocks was an instant classic...

I thought the ending was very "meh". The only thing I wished was that Jason and Glen ate a couple dicks just for being the douche canoes they were/are. I noticed that when everyone was congratulating Carl & Rich and clapping those two were sitting in the background smoking their faggoty pipes and dreaming of sweet man love. what class acts :shaking:

on another note, did anyone notice they wrote "Super Rover 2" on their ride?

they blew their motor or something.... DNF

... the end sucked, Jason needs his dick sucker smashed in and as said before what a way to end an off road race than on a highway.
I just hope that if they have another season or do something else like it, they choose their competitors a lil better.... I still say this is a blemish on what the off road community is really like, at least in my experience.
