Any idea on what you will sell one of those for?
Honestly, I haven't even seen pictures of them so at this point I have no clue. I really want to keep one as they are small (10'x6') and light (4500lbs). Would be a lot of fun to run through the woods, and also make some fake missiles and drive it through parades, take it to car shows, etc.

Yeah I can't see this being a bad idea in any way shape or form

Don't have the skid steer at the house right now so the easiest way to make room in the driveway was to put one in the back of a truck. The drivetrain will have to come out of them so I can tip them on their side (or upside down) to cut out the skid plates and weld on new ones. Luckily it will be easy enough to remove. Will cut out all the rusty metal then get them sandblasted. May have a buyer for two of them so may not have to fool with but one of them.

Ready to be sandblasted. I cut most of the bad stuff out of the bottom, once it is blasted I will patch the bad spots, paint, and start reassembly. It's a very simple machine, and will be MUCH simpler in its new form since it won't have the ability to load/unload missiles. It also won't have things like hi beams, brake lights, blackout lights, etc. I will put some mechanical gauges in it, some LED floodlights, and a simpler alternator than the one it has.

Was bound to happen eventually, I must say I have been lucky as I have bought I imagine 60-70+ trucks from auction and this has been the first that has been locked up completely. Sadly it is also the most valuable engine too.... Anyone need a Cat C-12 core?

They are badass trucks for sure. Now I have a parts truck to hopefully get my other MTVR parts truck running.

Bought 4 trucks, a trailer, and a shipping container full of parts from a guy in Corpus Christi. I went down last week, it sucked---his place was a dump, and Corpus Christi is a dump from what I saw. Soooooo glad to be home. God blessed North Carolina, not so sure about Texas like the song says.

Picked up the truck that is on the trailer from the local wrecker yard I had it dropped off at. It runs/drives but needs to be gone through. 13'5" to the top on this trailer, it definitely felt top-heavy.

Used the engine hoist to unload a truck last night. The trailer didn't have ramps so I had to sit the back end on the ground and then lift the front---it was not a fun process as the trailer had no deck over the tires.

How come you get to have ALL the fun?!

I wish. I think this truck needs the compressor replaced, or at least I am hoping it's the compressor and not a more serious issue. So if you want to have some fun come on up and replace the compressor for me 😃

My long distance driving truck is down for the count...
