IMO the calculators get you an ideal. But there are all kinds of things that get int he way of placement, like center sections, motors, frames etc. Then you build around those things.

I like this rig.

got the front mocked almost. had to tap all the links and tig the joints together.

good visiting with you last week Tim. Buggy is looking fantastic. hope we are both done for the rock corp trip in march! BTW, still not riding behind that fire breather!! It will melt my plastic nose cone on my truck/car. lol :beer:

Digging those mounts! The P/S is just going to be bolted to the center chunk?
 
built my fuel cell over the weekend, also got some different walker evans beadlock wheels (rockwell pattern).

are you going to add any more to the battery box? Looks. Like the drive shaft would destroy it if the u joint broke on the upper end.

there is more room there than appears in the picture. but your right i might need alittle more portection.

Would love to see those two on the trails again. Been a while for Chris, and Mike's gonna wear out his stock XJ LOL
