"Take 92" - YJ Linked with Nines

Do yourself (and timeline) a favor... the Artec cell cage is killer and will save you hours doing it the hard way! ;)

I actually have the skid/mount for bottom already made using my old XJ skid plate :)
then a few pieces of bent metal for top to hold it in place and a nice shelf to close it all in..
hope to have a bunch of it done this week

Looks good! Is that an Ironman4x4 logo on the reear?

trying to get the fuel cell in and all connected

used my old XJ skid and cut it down to make it work for what I was going for.

does anyone off hand now which wires are what on stock YJ fuel tank?
If I can figure out what the wires are I can just use stock wiring for new fuel pump.

Thanks

Maybe this will help? You should be able to ring out the 2 wires (one is FP power, the other is sender) and split them.
Assuming you're going to an inline pump? You should be able to pull the FP wire back to wherever the pump will be mounted.

Others may disagree, but running a a filter *BEFORE* the pump is always a good idea!

another question that google cant seem to answer..

I put a E2000 fuel pump on Jeep but the dang thing does not say which electrical end is + or - ?

anybody know off hand?

Thanks

the fuel cell is in and bolted down and all lines connected and power has been run except the sending unit on fuel cell.. I need to now pull off hold down straps and paint them and reinstall them

I keep seeing more and more 9" fronts. Jealous indeed.

Hopefully I'll see you driving it around town or maybe even on the trail.

I'll be taking the jeep to Lonerider (and various other breweries) once it gets here. Keep an eye out for me.

well this is how life goes.. I get a little time in garage and BAM I am out of welding gas :( and of course I am low on wire..

all dressed up and no gas to use..
awww.impaks.com_images_ken_wrangler_img_5397.jpg

I did some of the bracing either tacked or half welded in before running out of gas

it's good to have freinds in the same hobby.. I borrowed my buddy JOhns welding tank and finished the front ram mount and all bracing.

well only thing left to do is add trac bar and the front is finally done

the rear fuel cell is all wired, and all lines connected so I put 5 gallons in fuel cell and hooked up battery to test it and BAM nothing.. no power to anythign in jeep so now I need to check all the fuses etc. :(

sometimes the easiest solution to your problem is right in front of you :)

So jeep would not start, no power to anything.. so last night I was in garage and you guessed it, I forgot to reconnect master power wire to the fuse block. Yup that would sure make a difference :)

How comfortable do you feel with the fuel cell in cab and kids in the back seat? I only ask because I am thinking about doin the same mod but makes me uneasy with my 2 year old back there strapped into a car seat!

yeah, what did you do for your fuel cell vent line?
