the hundred push ups training program

I'm back after 2.5 weeks off due to sickness and then shoulder hurting. Decided to restart wk2, column3.

14, 14, 10, 10, 25(min 15)
 
ugh x2 ---Mondays
I was successful, surpassed the max by 2, but I was hoping it would feel easier, especially since I'm repeating (for the 4th time) wk3 col. 3.

The 60 sec rest period is short!
14-18-14-14-22max =82
 
push-ups are done. Mondays seem harder to me too.

14-18-14-14- maxed 22...82 pushups under 7 mins.

on sit ups, I started completely over after failing to complete day 3 of week 2. I figured starting over would only help..not hurt.

15-18-10-10-maxed 20
 
Just finished day one of week five 36-40-30-24-42. The last set was a real struggle but did manage to do 2 extra.
 
wk 2, day 2, column 3

14, 16, 12, 12, 27(min 17)

I felt pretty good about that fifth set since I only did 28 on my initial test.
 
Well crap, this week I started doing them shortly after dinner today while the kids are playing. After the 1st 4 sets I was thinking that was pretty easy (14-19-14-14), then I realized thru all the ditractions, I had done column 2 of wk 3, not column 3. Grrr, then I knocked out 28 on the max set. Kids wouldnt STFU about how Sportacus does pushups too...

Next week, its back to pushups after bedtime!
 
Food for thought (or lack there of)

Didnt have time for breakfast...worked until 2 and rode to bajangles for a sausage biscuit. Back to work unil 6:45..home around 7 something...ate sausage and rice.(not much, didnt like it too good) ....My point is, that I had no energy and it was very hard to do the push-ups tonight.
But i did, somehow manage.

20-25-15-15-maxed 25. NO EXTRAS!!

week 3, day 2 is complete!
 
Just finished my second day of week 5. I managed to do 50 on the 8th set when I only did 30 on my initial test.
 
well last week I started on weeks 3.. did day 1, then got very sick and tried day 2 and was still sore from being dehydrated. so stopped..
this week did week 3 again. Mon and Wed had no problems at all. felt good .. so tonight will do week 3 day 3 and see how it goes.

to my surprise my arms feel great..

best part was my test start max was 37 and on wed my max after doing all the sets was 37.. I felt good about that.
 
Dam, this seems to be working. I did more in my fifth set than my initial test max.

Just finished week five with 60 on the eighth set (min. of 50). That is double the number I could do at the start of this program.
 
man you guys are doing great! I'm still having trouble fulfilling the max set, but I am seeing seeing improvement, I'm not quitting yet. This week, I repeated wk3 col. 3, today was 22-30-20-20-18 (min 28)
Because I screwed up day 2 (did col 2 instead of 3), and didnt quite hit the day 3 min on the final set, I guess its wk3 col 3 again next week.
