Turbo Solid Axle Tacoma Build

If y'all had to put a value on my truck, what would you say?

Been contemplating it for a while. Either going to build a sami buggy or take a break for a little while and start stuffing back money. I'd like to sell my house and move in the next couple years

Took a trip down to MOBSFAB to get my parts. TG warrantied the 21 spline input with a 23 spline and I had to purchase a new coupler. Time to get this turd up and running again. Maybe I can hit more than two obstacles next trip out :flipoff2:

Maybe next time out you won't go full retard on the 2nd obstacle...which will allow you to hit more of them!

Never go full retard...LOL
For some reason I don't think Jacob will ever go easy on it lol. Nothing but turbo noises and rev limiter are this trucks future.

Haha what Chris said. I don't know how to not go full retard. I like wheelspeed and the sound of the turbo wayyy too much!

I would like to see his "can do attitude" strapped into a tough moderately powerful tube chassis!! That would be a show!! (Well his truck is a show too so I guess it works for me either way)

We can arrange for that.... Let me borrow your keys!

It's alive! But my front case is stuck in high for some reason. Going to pull the shifter and see if I can get the rail to move at all, if not I'll have to drop and split the cases again. If that's the case I'll be going to my buddy @ObeseFieldMouse 's place so we can have heat and power tools haha.

Haha yeah I went and made a few pulls around town just to get my fix. Gonna leave it together for a bit in case we get some snow. Been broken the last two times we've gotten good snow so I haven't gotten to take it out and play yet

Choo choo. Yea, ratchets are for the birds lol. Ordered mine a fpr today. Maybe I can get it to quit dripping raw fuel from the exhaust before Gulches...

After some long hard thinking I think I've convinced myself to keep the tacoma. As much as I would love to be in more of a buggy and really be able to wheel with zero fucks given, a built tacoma has always been my dream truck and I know I'd kick myself if I let it go. Plus the more I thought about it, the more I didn't wanna give up my heat and a/c :flipoff2:

With all that being said, the ol girl's getting some changes this year. 2016 plans are 3 linking the front on 16" coilovers or ORI's, boatsides, anti-wrap bar out back, and drop the ride height 2-3"

Glad to see you've decided to keep it. I hope you can keep it together for the Harlan trip. It would suck to break it on the first day up there! Sometimes going a little easier on the skinny pedal will get you further than balls to the wall

Balls to the wall is way more fun though! Haha. And I might be putting a lot of wheeling before our trips so I hold it holds up. Gulches next month, SHOP open ride, maybe Harlan for memorial day, then Harlan again with y'all.
