What have you done to your rig today?

Does that trailer still track straight? Or are you gonna eat up brand new tires?
It currently doesn't track at all....lol It should be good once I get done with it. That is my goal anyhow.

I would appreciate a little build thread on your efforts. I’m curious to see what all you do. I’ve walked away from great trailer “deals” because of a tweaked frame. I always had that fear of continuously wearing out a tire because of it.

Got dual batteries in the CJ in preparation for the winch, ran all new battery cables and grounds. Alt is not charging so I think I am going to just put a self exiting single wire on it.

This is for 89wrangler, and anyone else, the center bolt on the artec skid will cut the boot on the driveshaft! Learned that one the hard way.

Thanks for the heads up that.

Done.

Worked on removing the spray foam the PO put everywhere. I have an image in my head of a motard using a fire hose hooked to a drum of great stuff.:kaioken:

Happy Birthday to my John Deere! Thirty years old [89], which I purchased in March 1991. After it's Spring tune up, I decided to rub some wax on it. Fully hydro-matic, 46" deck, & 18 HP Onan. Unknown How much dirt, stone, & mulch, it's moved, with my homemade push blade. Original rear tires. Replaced fronts, last year. Other than general service/tune-ups, Nothing has ever been done to it! That's Why, they quit making such Machines! :usa:

I think this deserves the whole "they don't build them like that anymore" I bet that thing will still be in service by the time my son has to buy a mower if it's taken care of.

I’ve had a jd 316 mower and now a 318 with a front loader and rear tiller. I think ours is a 86. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

My XJ got new AC compressor, accumulator and orifice tube. 44* out the vents now. Also rotated tires, changed oil and replaced leaking valve cover gasket.
My Ranger, well it's awaiting a delivery from FedEx...

I also went to install the new brake hoses I bought a while back only to find that even though everyone sells a short 10" brake hose for each side in the rear they are one piece all the way to the junction block. I guess I'll be buying from the dealer or having alliance hose and tube make some hard lines.

So in the last 2 days Ive ran into to folks from here in the real world and both asked "Why havent you posted any car pics in the what have you done today thread lately"
Well...at the detail stage where there arent huge obvious visual changes but getting mighty close.
A couple recent pics...
