Milktoast recipe: Place a piece of white bread on the top of a potbelly stove and flip until crispy. Pour about an inch of milk into a bowl and lay the toast in it to absorb the milk. Sprinkle some brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
Bam!.... A hearty, tasty breakfast for about $.15.
All those Walmart shelf raiders know what the deal is. ;) Or they're just really stupid lol
 
We go through 3-4 gallons of milk on a normal week. Harris Teeter subbed what they had left, some $6/carton whole milk...only had 2. I have a toddler that goes through 2 gallons/wk herself...so the hunt was on for me last night. Walmart was out, Aldi was out, the closer Food Lion was out. Go to another Food Lion and the heavens opened...looked like their milk section hadn’t been touched. So for Salisbury folks, if you need milk, the Food Lion on Faith Rd by Tinseltown cinema, they were fully stocked at about 9 last night.

My two year old crushes some milk too. I feel like I need to explain myself to folks during time's of inclement weather that I'm not making a special run on milk, that this is a normal purchase.

Well we’re getting 1”-22” supposedly from what I’ve heard from weather channel tom it may be over 100’ who knows

My wife make kefir and kambuca tea.
With that said, we purchased 2 gallons of milk and a box of black tea. Need to keep the bacteria and fungus alive

All stocked up....unfortunately the Angels Envy is a gift to my boss, I'm sure I'll get some later at work one day. The rest is for us. Daughter flew in today from Denver, pilot was asking if they were sure the wanted to go to CLT knowing it would shut down with a trace of snow.

If your goin 77 to 81 then to 40 you will be right by me.If you go 40 from Asheville you'll be about 35 miles or so from me.

Camp creek bald is right around the TN/NC line as your headed toward Marshall/Weaverville and its about 5000 feet in elevation.I was over that way Mon and the mountain was covered then.I heard tonight that somebody was stuck,on the mountain,and was tryin to find somebody to come get em.Hope they have a full tank of gas.:shaking:
 
It's officially starting here in Maiden! I'm more excited than a kid on Christmas Eve:bounce:
