Yagers in your thoughts

Been hoping for an update all day today. Thanks guys! Continued thoughts & prayers for Yager & Family.

I'm trying to figure out a great picture to send in a card. Going to dig through old CTB albums. I know we have several of Mike and a bunch of us ctb'ers back in the day. Will be sending this card and pic. asap.

dylan what would Mike have wheeled say 12 to 14 yrs ago?

dont really remember, but the pics should tell us. theyre gonna be hard to dig up..but I think there are some more recent Fun Caravan pics in a box here in the house. Seems like he competed in the F/caravan with only locked front wheel drive a few years ago. The youngins are sleeping or I'd be closet digging right now.

12 years ago would have been a TJ, 33's or so, had a big www.yager.net banner on the windshield...

By the way, I've been trying to think of something to send him. Cards are lame. (I have this thing against Hallmark and all their damn holidays). Flowers? Great only if they're in such a :gay: color scheme as to be funny. What about something useful, or at least funny? I'm really drawing a blank. I was thinking a laser pointer would be good to keep the cat entertained, since he'll be home for a while before getting back to work... but they already have that..

Something along those lines though... maybe we chip in? what about a roomba or something? Val's gonna be busy enough, and it's a cat toy...

Just saw this.
As so many have already said, anything that we can do to help...
Mike, continue the good progress and our prayers are with you.

As scary as this is to type, I'm liking the way you're thinking, Rich. ;)

hmm... maybe someone check with Val on the Roomba...

"funny" - knitting supplies

What about Wheeling DVDs or other movies? Does Mike play video games? Books or magazines?

I thought about that awhile back. I came up with an idea of greeting cards called "Inappropriate Greeetings" Like for valentines day a card will say something about chocalates and flowers. My idea was the store was out so I got you some duct tape and rope. Or someone in the hospital one of the musical cards that when they open it it makes a long flat line sound.

Anyways kinda what others have talked about is maybe get someone close that can put it togethor but get an album put togethor with different members and their rigs. it would be cool on a whole to see how many of the 17,000 people send something in. It might take a few albums, but it would give him plenty to look at and occupy his time with something he cares about.

O yeah with that I will add that my prayers go out to Him and his family for peace and healing hand on all of them.

It would be cool if we all could just show up one weekend (or more) and just finish his rig for him and have it ready when he gets better...

lol, knowing Mike like I do I think if he caught wind of that, he'd probably leap from the bed and run naked down the highway dragging his IV pole to keep that from happening :D He's redone his ORI mounts at least six times because they weren't juuuuuust right. He's too particular for that to happen.

 Exactly what I thought. Nice idea, though.

I was thinking we could pitch in for some of his 5.9 cummins upgrade goodies he was talking about and for the 47rh tranny rebuild? I don't have much to spare nor does anyone I know, but maybe we could at least have some funding sitting there to move things forward...? I would be hesitant to build something for not exactly as desired. My brother bought his old jeep...there ain't no skimping anywhere that I've seen....very well engineered. Again, he's got a long road in front of him, and will certainly need our help.
