Trails are comparable. Although we didnt find trails like the waterfall or can opener. some of the trails are tight and over grown as it has not been open to the full size crowd for too long. All the red trails we ran looked like they have not been run in a long while.

We stayed at the Chief Logan state park. It was really nice and all the folks there were very accommodating. They had put-put golf, swimming pool, a fishing pond, a museum, and hiking trails. There were a mess of us and we were able to camp together and they still had places for kens bus and a toy hauler.

Its a 20 min drive to the trail head though.

All in all great trip.

Camping was very nice and had no issues. We tried to make it back on sat to get to pool but did not get back in time.

Be careful the deer will walk right up to you expecting to be fed :)

Trails I did were all very easy. I ran 2wd almost entire time except for a few steep loose dirt climbs. I did not get a chance to push my rig like I wanted but my son was along for the ride and was nervous about the real tough stuff. He read the signs which said very dangerous even though they were not.

If you go I hope you have better luck finding the hard stuff.

As for me I will just go to Harlan or Rausch instead of back to here.

Im not going to bear wallow im going to a undisclosed location you have alteady been and is awsome

Had to de winterize the RV for our first trip of the year to Florida.

Washing all the winter junk of it. I really need to get a cover or build a roof over its parking spot.

We made it to Jacksonville Florida to visit great grandma. Bus did great. But the traffic in SC was terrible.

My left leg got a massive work out and it stunk.

The campsite at Disney wilderness Campground

All concrete pads sure are nice.

And when the campground requires headlights and taillights and you don't have any then you make them

I used bus running lights with led bulbs connected to 9volt batteries.

Yes I-95 is a nightmare this time of year. All the snowbirds leaving Florida and all the spring breakers going in...... Mom and Dad live in Vero Beach. I go there about once every 4 years or so. I hate Florida.

It's a small world. They moved there and drug me down when I was 6 in 1974. Mom loves it Dad is ok with it but longs for our home in Aiken like I do.

Actually, that ain't bad. You're running almost all Interstate, but most places in Fla. - like my brother's which is west of Orlando, is a 10 hr drive and that's runnin' closer to an average of 80... Ocala to Raleigh in the 55 mph era was about 12 hrs.

It's the traffic that gets frustrating. That's why I like the back roads. ;-)

Yup. It takes us like 9 hrs to get to Harlan. I don't even want to talk about how long it takes to get to Golden Mountain.

What I don't get is why all the pictures of the bus are of it parked in front of a highway rest area. That thing has a shitter on-board, doesn't it?? Hell, if you're careful about it, I bet you can swap out drivers under way, go back, get yourself a coke, take a piss, watch a little TV, and come back up front once you're all rested and ready for another shift at the wheel.

wife wont drive the bus..so I had to stop to stretch my legs.. 9hrs was just to long to not get out and walk around a while..
