how are you gonna deal with the driveshaft bind and all that travel? with your motor moved back so far will you actually get that much travel when driveshaft is on?

I had a ton of travel until I installed the driveshaft and then I had to put limit straps on due to binding

I expect to strap the droop at 19-20". At ride height I have 9.5" up. Wouldn't be upset at all with 18-20". Without going through the measurements, I'm sure the shaft will operate properly with. +/- 19".

All shocks are mocked in now. Haven't cycled the front yet. Was able to get the front shocks under the hood! Lowers on front will probably be wiggled a bit to make room for the bumps. It's tight at the axle up front with 40° of steering.

Also some spy shots at ride height with pvc spacers on the shock shafts.

I've been researching beadlock wheels again. I enjoy my H1's just not the ride at speed instead of crawling. Are these Pro Comp beadlocks still available? Have you run them before?

These particular are not made any longer. I haven't run these, but @ChrisAyers has for some time on a cherokee.

Thanks guys!

Matt

Did some cycling on the front today. Started clearance the fenders for articulation. Can't get the tuck like the rear, due to the natural taper and slope of the front clip. The tires will probably bump the outermost fender tube at stuff. Made some discoveries, (of which I was anticipating due to just slapping the shocks in there yesterday)--

Will be reducing front up travel from 7.75 to 7, and moving both upper and lower mounts to adjust to reach full bump, clear the top of the knuckle at full lock, and have room for the bumps.

It's tight up there, even with the motor sitting in my lap...[emoji481]

Just a shot or two of the front fender trim, you can see the line of where I will finally stop to clean it up and resemble the rear radius', I only trimmed as I needed...still some removal to do on the cab sub structure.

In actually really liking the absence of material, showing more space in the fender well.

Edit: the chrome emblem will return close to its original location...[emoji106]

I've been running them for 2 years now and I love them, haven't had any leak down whatsoever. As far as I know, they're only available in a racer program or used like Cutler and me got ours. I've only seen them in 5 and 6 lug and in a 17" with hardly any offset.

There really needs to be a drool emoj. Words do not begin to describe this build.

I've resisted putting Chris's Cherokee on blocks just to see what those wheels would look like under the Zuk.

By the way I owe you a few  for helping on the cage. I can honestly say I can put Ray Charles best welds to shame. :D

Can't wait to see this beast on the trails.

Thanks, happy to help! Maybe we'll both be on the trail soon, and I'll take you up on a beer around the campfire.

Thanks for the info. I'm looking at options for some things on my next rig. So why coilovers up front with air bumps instead of ORI's? With the tight space in an MJ/XJ ORI's seem to be the best answer. Am I wrong on that or are there other reasons for the coilovers? Also are the leaned in and back? Why?
